in my book it said that guo means kingdom but i guess itz the same thing. and also it didn't give me the word meaning mrs. if i were go to china i would be calling ever one mr.

guo was originally "state" or "kingdom". Now, it means "country".

This kind of lessons with expainations, characers, pinyin and spoken Chinese without making things to compicated is great and if you like me know some words or sentences and characters makes it fall into place and stuck better. More of those would definitely make more people learn Chinese. xie xie =o)

Well in Chinese, for a Sports Stars and Foreign Countries, they just use characters that sound like the English word, but otherwise they mean nonesense.
