This is not a stupid question at all, most birth controls are about $50-$60 a month and serve much more importance than a male enhancement pill, yet are most often not covered by insurance companies. It's a women's health care issue and for a prospective PRESIDENT to not be 'informed' enough to answer this question is unacceptable. He didn't even offer a promise to change the health care policy to include this.

That is ridiculous. Every college subject is much more difficult because the amount of knowledge available has dramatically increased. The real issue is that we have had a stupid president for the last 7 years and it has been a disaster. The brutal reality is living as a POW and running for office on your medals isn't preparation. Factor in his legendary temper, lack of knowledge about anything of substance and he is a much, much greater risk than Obama. McCain's gaffes weren't because of age.

Interesting point. I do think he had a firm grasp of quite a few issues, but has since been bought by the Christian right. His natural tendencies towards sexism are now downright policy. Clearly, he doesn't want to speak out against his backers, hence the hemming and hawing, but lack of common sense and a true depiction of incredible sexism display an unfit person for any kind of leadership, let alone the presidency.
