Aajonus is a fraud who was a former actor on General Hospital. Look it up. He has no actually research background and is touting himself as an expert. Lol. Anyone can be an expert. I've been a healthy vegan for twenty five years and a healthy raw vegan for 2 1/2 years. No meat required.
@rawmark Is it a fraud that he's cured himself from cancer by eating rotten seal meat? I tend to believe your comment about his credentials is biased and disingenuous since you prattle on about veganism, like it's healthier.
Being Vegan was never about eating a healthier diet, it was about not feeding a corporate system that abuses animals. It's strange to hear vegans piss on Aajonus, he's always advocated eating meat that comes from happy healthy animals.
@sillygoose544 I already have, I purposefully rot all my food. My biggest influence is the cow, a ruminant. It eats the toughest things to digest, yet it gets it done through a huge forestomach that acts like a fermentation kettle. It doesn't digest the grass, it eats the bacteria, the fatty acids, and enzymes they produce. and they grow 1000+ lbs!
Fermented foods is the answer. All life is essentially microbial, how well you sustain your life depends on how well your microbes digest your food.
@ParapaDrifter Glad you got my message even though I accidently erased it (respond to myself to add more, lol) Honestly, I'm a raw vegan, so this diet to me, to say the least, is shocking. But if it works for you, that's all that matters. I'm not gonna sit here and pretend to speak for every digestive system on the planet. Good luck and, more importantly, have fun!
@sillygoose544 yea, it's a blast how much stuff you can learn if you open your mind to other viewpoints. I enjoyed this paper : michaelbluejay com/veg/protein-strength html
What i think vegans have to explain is their elephant/plant analogy... that an elephant is a huge vegetarian, but what about a dog... what makes their digestive system better to thrive on meat?
Highlighting the importance of microbes, a better question to ask is, what is the best substrate for the microbes in your guts?
@ParapaDrifter From my limited research, there are two things that make a carnivores digestive sysstem different from an hebavores. The first is higher acidity in the stomach, to pulverize meat, and second, carnivores have shorter intestinal tracts so meat can pass much easier and faster.
As for my being vegan, we resemble the lesser primates far more than elephants, and that, along with my studies into evolution, is what convinced me to base my diet on fruit.
@ParapaDrifter As for large vegan animals, I say: so what? Sure there are elephants and horses, but there are also rabbits and elk, and even vegan insects. An animals size depends on where it evolved, it's natural predators, abundance and scarcity of food, etc. So I think that is a weak argument to support veganism, and thus I don't use it.
@sillygoose544 what I was trying to highlight is the difference between the digestive systems they've evolved, all of the herbivores have extensive digestive systems to allow as much utilization of their food as possible to BACTERIA.
My point is that dog or cow, all life is dependent on microbes. And the debate on which type of food is best is secondary to the importance of complete digestion and vitamin synthesis by bacteria. digestion of food by bacteria is the MOST important aspect of diet
@ParapaDrifter Don't be fooled by his pack of lies. He hasn't healed himself from anything. IN fact, Aajonus isn't even his real name. It's a fictitious one that he created along with fake credentials. OH, and how is it you can claim these animals are happy and healthy? Were they happy when someone slit their throat? Did you do it? I doubt that very much. Most people can't stomach the idea of slaughtering a helpless being that they know we don't need for food. End the suffering now. Go vegan!
@rawmark Generally Primal eaters doesnt preach about the sins of veganism but some vegans do it. I don't understand that, if there are people that can heal and live better with a primal diet so be it. "anyone can be an expert" thats right like boutenko, stokes, wolfe, in raw veganism there is no consense between authors so in what aotuhr do you have more cientific faith? I'm writing this eating a delicuos raw tuna, mmmm yummy! (yeah yeah i know more cancer to me).
@Ineke210000 Each year vegan devoured a little bit of my guts, and I didn't have a clue that there was any loss. Then my guts no longer functioned. Peace on earth begins with you. Look inside. See what's bothering you. Just become a better person. Do it yourself. I can't do it for you. You can't do it for me. That's self sabotage.
