When spoken orally the plural form of the word "know" ("knows") can sometimes be confused with the singular form of the word "nose". The most funniest thing I found about Cyranose is that he did not attack real people when they said nose,(Example Luies and Maria when they said it on the same show with Cyranose getting his nose stuck in Oscar's can.)only other Muppets when they said it. When real people said it he just swung his nose left and right in anger.

The last time I remember seeing him on Sesame Street was when Oscar tried to insult Cyranose again by saying nose again but he said "Sorry,I can't hear you! I,ve got a cold in my nose!"
