  • I just did a weed pull on a 1966 Dodge Coronet 440 with a factory air 383. Spent most of it's life in a Montana creek bed. We are going to try and make it run!

  • Thanks. Check out my fury from junk yard to now part 2 if you would like to see it almost completed.

  • wow man. thats a real nice car. seriously. needs a little more work, but then again being a 1966. its just great to see a car restorated rather than chopped. Thanks

  • Tough girl she is !! Keeper eh?Nice going man, good luck.

  • i like that you want to save history.. good job

  • my cousin's husband has a '67 Fury III custom order sitting in his back yard.....i wanna buy it from him really freakin bad...

  • mate you should put sheetmetal alluminium on th interior doors it looks smoot and is relatively cheap

  • @The98corolla Thw interior is pretty much all new now

  • why did you crank the key without spark plugs ...., how are you going to find number 1 again ..., firing order 18436572 you're welcome anytime

  • in the long run....ya' just can't beat american engineering. bloody frikkin' built to last...

  • Mopar at that!

  • Agreed. I wouldn't give two cruds about any old Honda or Toyota made today, but these older cars like in the Mopar in this video need another chance.

  • danm...a friend of mine had a 60 something galaxy and the motor siezed in only 5 years of sitting

  • @tabaristewart --- thats because it ain't a MOPAR ...., its MOPAR or NO CAR !!!

  • that things good for a couple hundred thousand more miles. believe me!

  • The link above is the stage the car is at now. The 383 is gone and replaced by a 440

  • Thanks I all ready have the 440 in it now. If things go right. I hope to fire it up this weekend. Getting over a bad cold so we will see. I have about 2 hours work to have it ready to run

  • motor swap happens this sunday :-) finally

  • I am posting up on craigs list to see if I can find a carb to just bolt on. If not I will have to rebuild this one. The 440 will go in next month even if this one does happen to fire up.

  • i duon't know what area you are in but i highly recommend car quest. they might have a rebuilt 2bbl carb same model and year for that block. nice big block btw

  • so start it up!
