  • I like how you can afford all that work put into the Mustang, but can't afford a camera that's not from 1986.

  • Stfu with this omg keep it original crap nice car bad ass not original boring shit

  • Poor fastback.... I am not trying to be a jerk, but they are great original or restro-modded.

  • @chadatwork

Just what part of restRo-mod do you find acceptable?. 18" wheels? ha... This is old school hot rodding at its finest. Swaping in a big block has only been doon by everyone from 1966 on. Look back at the old blown cammers being campained in the day both blown and big block. Heck they even had straight axles under some of them. al in old fast backs.

  • WTF???

  • Looks like its a blast on the streets. Does it go faster than 25mph?

  • a blown 460. I would normally dislike due to the lack of action but. I could never dislike a blown 460. Dislike and blown 460 should never be used in the same sentence.

  • Newer Mustangs will still pwn this acient thing. Very nice though

  • @Jah2070 Ouch, Touchy subject xD

  • @wildkyler95 Its true, The newer mustangs can make better use of 300hp than the old dinosaurs because the engineering put into it is better, it can even get better mpg. Old cars are nice and cool to look at and stuff but the newer ones are just plain better both in looks, speed, handling, and effiency, comfort, and chick magnet factor. You agree?

  • @Jah2070 Yea, good point and all, but there is nothing like listening to that sweet T-22 Rock Crusher cruising down the street xD

  • @wildkyler95 I have to agree with you on that one, every car enthusiast has to love that sound, from tuners, to muscle, to euro, everyone loves that amazing sound.

  • @Jah2070 I love the sound of muscle cars, and thats it xD

  • I've always been a huge fan of "daily drivers" and "cruisers" when it comes to classic muscle cars but you did an awesome job with this one. It looks great!

  • man, that is the quietest blown engine i have ever heard.

  • lol what kind of communists "dislike" this youtube clip??? people with hondas that just realize the lug nuts on this car require more torque than their engine puts out?

  • Poor mustang got ruined =(

  • bit of a blind spot.......

  • I like how good your driving habits are. The video shows how to properly "cruise slow for the honey's". And how to practice burnouts in a safe area away from others! Keep up the good work! Nice stang!

  • The car looks nice but the burn out sucked .... must have been a chevy motor . O im sorry chevys dont run must be a dodge . FORDs RULE

  • I could never bring my self to tub such a rare car, this is honestly just a waste of a beautiful cruiser.

  • no sound you twit but awesome car man

  • and another fastback ruined :/

  • Whoop! Whoop! Dats da sound o' da police!

  • WHAT A SICK BURNOUT!!!

  • drop shit and get quit ridin that clutch!

  • 0:07 the SUV disapears? lol, nice mustang, ive got a 64 1/2 with a v8 260

  • Comment removed

  • That horse has a big brain.

  • nice. I need a 92LX 5.0 with a blower to take on the 2011's

  • Yea i got a 428 in the front and 460 in the trunk with 5 holly 1050 sitting on top. It only costed $17.000.00 but got er done. I thought i may put a 429 beside me but then i would have nowhere to sit

  • put a hood on it and it would look a lot better

  • why are my balls so swollen?

  • Hey Jim! So cool to find your Mustang here on youtube! See you at the cruise!

    John

  • badass engine, but i hate those tiny ass tires up front, they look like stinking bicycle wheels, to me, the front tires on a car have to be at least 6" wide so it can have good handling and braking, and yes i know it's set up to be a drag car.

  • I like his pizza cutters

  • i agree... If i were to put in A twin turbo and 427 in my mustang, I wouldn't sacrifice any looks just to drag it... i dislike those back wheels... and it's need for a hood as well... still nice ride... i guess to each his own...

  • Very nice fastback, I would love to find a fabled 64 to drop my 260 in .

  • Please quit doing this to fastbacks, they are too extinct... make the fox bodys drag racers!

  • @NorthwestShredsesh you mean endangered extinct would mean that no more exist.

  • @NorthwestShredsesh Ill buy your restored cars to gut and make race cars in the future so restore away.

  • @NorthwestShredsesh

I'D RATHER SEE A HUNDRED CARS LIKE THIS THAN ONE, THAN ONE THAT LOOKS JUST LIKE THE RESTORED ONE IT IS PARKED NEXT TO..AND IT WAS PROBABLY TRAILERED AND HAS NEVER DRIVEN. RESTORED CARS ARE FOR WHIMPS THAT HAVE NO IMAGINATION.

BUILD EM, AND DRIVE THE SHIT OUT OF THEM. THAT'S WHAT THEY ARE MADE FOR.

  • nice stang, but very bad quality (VBQ) video...

pls, post more in better quality...!!

    txx

  • Nice ride off to church were you ? 3/5

  • nice ride man,, but for that minute an 20 seconds, i was hopin to see a lil more action!!! still a sick ride

  • where did you get that supercharger? whenever i look for one i only find two for 90's blocks

  • jtltoy,

Did this '65 come from Southern Indiana? If so, it may have been my Brother-In-Law that changed it over from drag car to street rod. The Drag Super Tricks look very familiar. If this is the car, I used to work on it and drive it as a youngster!

    Tim

  • No, I've owned it for over 30 years. I bought it from a friend of mine here in Michigan.

  • @jtltoy where in michigan?

  • Killin um!! leave it to a white guy to build a monster like that. Me I would go with like 23 inch mags i would have the whole motor polished i would repaint it and i would drop the moter a tiny bit. he has it though.

  • Yea ,bright green and purple,Yeaaaaaa.

  • EXACTLY! i dont think anybody got it? thad be so gangsta!

  • just my opioin here but i personaly think superchargers of the size look better on big body muscle cars i have a 6 -71 on my 1976 thunderbird 429 cobra jet i just think a mustang whould look more bad ass with the stock hood and a procharger but thats just me good work though what psi is it tuned to

  • so this isnt street legal is it?

  • pocketspatel, you don't watch much drag racing, do you?

  • very nice job bud i have a 514 with a 8-71 in a 1990 stang i know for a fact you don,t have to prove anything (blownstang514 thanks vance

  • do you have any video of it. I would love to see it.

  • there is one on you tube (blown mustang on golden ears bridge) and goggle(blownstang514) thanks VANCE

  • Sounds like quite a cam you have in there. What heads did you use?

  • ford supe cobra jet heads

  • So many haters! That is a good fuking car God dog i would not care about the little vision that i lost that would be fun as hell. looks like It could hook up.

  • yeh.. like 100% clear vision out of that window screen...

  • 100% clear vision?? Whats that have to do with anything?

  • It was sarcasm from the giant engine block in front of you whilst driving lol didnt mean it in any offence was just mild humour.

    Peace.

  • No offense taken. Sometimes you get people on here that just like to criticize everything. I don't mind a little humor now and then.

  • youve ruined that car. tsk tsk tsk.

  • The car was in pretty rough shape when I got it. I would not have done this to a pristine car.

  • boring vid.

  • bet a tractor handles better...whats with the rear tyres..joke!

  • this is prolly a stupid question but where do you get a supercharger like that...alls im finding r ones that go on motors like the fox4 (1994 and up) i want one that goes on the carbed motors

  • i had a fully blown gran turino with a keith black hemi and supercharged pushing just over 83 psi

  • u wanna my yugo with a blown 302

  • Hey this is sweet! Which MII front end kit did you use? Which headers?

  • The front end was out of a 1974 Mustang and the headers were for a 460 truck, but they still didn't fit well enough.

  • now thats a mustang

  • Well...'ya know what hot rodders say: rapidly accelerating in a straight line is very difficult, dangerous, scary, and physically exhausting.

    GOTCHA!

  • Chevy guys eat your hart out

  • Why would chevy guys eat their "hart" out? Don't get me wrong, I have a LOT of respect for these old Fastbacks and Mach 1's, definitely a nice car. But for every decently fast Mustang, there's probably 2 GM's that are faster.

  • Oh yeah a blown Fastback.....a hell of car you got there!....and money well spent in my eyes!

  • Like I said, I just got it on the road when I filmed this and was still shaking the bugs out.

  • looks good but lacks get up and roost.

  • centerline auto drags?!!!!! put some real rims on that car!!!! get a line-lock to do burnouts the RIGHT way!!

  • I'm thinking about buying some 18" rims and putting some spinners on it. NOT!!!

  • nice fastback how many horsepower

  • I'm going out on a limb here, but I'm guessing the Chevy guys don't fuck with you anymore, huh?

  • If I was a terminally ill patient Id damn you for wasting my life with such a crap video. get a microphone

  • my car is posted.

  • it runs like it

  • So, do you have any videos of your car posted? I'd like to see it.

  • it dun matter wut his ride looks like... all u gotta kno is hes the ugliest fuck anyone ever saw and thats why hes hatin

  • 8 words,is that all it will do on water.must be a stock 289 under that blower or is the blower empty.

  • Ha,Ha,Ha!!! No water. Just a little bit of throttle. Actually, it is a 6 cylinder and the blower is made out of cardboard. LOL

  • beautiful car just ry to get some sound next time but other than that amazing job

  • one word - beautiful :)

  • Sick Stang

  • I love how all the people keep telling you step on it! well...hate to break it to them, but I don't think you really could just stomp it from a dead stop on the street..you would just waste both rear tires....

  • I recently noticed one of my slicks had the cords showing through, so until I get some new ones, I won't be doing any burnouts.

  • I understand that!

You took it to the track or anything yet?

  • Looks wicked! I wonder if anyone makes fake hoods to look like that...I'd buy one! LOL.

  • fuckin gay video. wtfs the point in filming it if youre not gunna show off.

  • Good to see the Young 'uns are trying hard to beat the Imports while the REAL MEN do battle.

  • honestly people...this is why you dont have a car like this, youd break it. why would you stomp on it if the car was just built and still needs to be worked on a bit

  • When you get it tuned, post a video with the hammer down

  • pussy drive it like u stole it not like my grandma why have a cool car and not have fun with it go buy a civic

  • I don't mind beating on it, I just have to work the kinks out first.

  • Why are you telling him how to drive his own care? It's his. He'll drive it like he wants.

  • that mustang is sweet

how did u get a big block in there i have a 65 coupe and i barely got a 351w in there

  • I installed the Mustang II front suspension. That way you don't have any shock towers to deal with.

  • are you allowed to drive it on the streets?

  • I've gone past many cop cars. As long as you aren't doing anything crazy, they won't bother you.

  • big block 460 blowned over and u want him to step on it.....things break in a big block lol

  • nice mustang... only problem is.. why the hell did you not show its power? haha you should of stepped on it. i have an 86 5.0 mustang with 200 horses stock:P lol but yeah everytime i get the chance i have fun with it.

  • did you have to modify the body for the motor, i bet it is tight

  • yea, it has a Mustang II frontend under it, so there is plenty of room to play with.

  • PUSSY

  • Yea, yea, I know. Just let me add a few things so I don't blow it up the first time I really get on it.

  • im jealous, ive always wanted a 60s mustang but im very happy with my 07

  • yes, i too would like to see you open it up. is the bottom end stock?

  • I hate to admit it but yes, it is very stock.

  • it's cool, i'm thrifty also. i built the entire top end and left the bottom, bearings and all. 86,000 mi. on it.

  • thats awesome that you actually drive it and dont just trailer it to shows

  • where did you get the engine? Was it a crate?

  • No, it came out of a 1970 Lincoln Continental.

  • open her up!

  • Cool car! I have a 65 Fastback tube chassis drag car, blown(14-71) alcohol injected 572 Ford and can't wait to get it finished up. I'll post video of it when I get it fired up this spring. Hoping to run high 6's if it works out. Thanks for the video! Chris

  • Yes, I would definitely like to see it. Do you have any pics?

  • I would definitely like to see it. Did you check out that white '67 blown Mustang?

  • It's a Dyer 671 Blower with 2 660 Holleys on it. The engine is a 460 ci. I couldn't get any traction, so I didn't hammer it. I appreciate the comments.

  • lol wtf, you didnt even hit the gas and you looked like you were sliding on ice! awsum!

  • dude, what kind of blower was that? its an amazing machine, and an amazing piece of history. nice car!
