God, the first minute of this is so painful. I fully appreciate and support what these guys are trying to do, but sometimes I wonder how much this is helping anyone -- especially the callers. Seems like they're just not educated enough most of the time -- or perhaps too educated the wrong way -- to be able to accept or even understand anything the atheists say.

When you get to the north pole, you cant go any further north. God isn't at a point north of the north pole. When you go back to the beginning, you can't go any further back. God isn't at a point before the beginning. Cause and effect requires time between the cause and the effect. therefore, a cause before time has no effect. Beyond the beginning is irrelevant.

The argument is a fallacy at its core. If something has a beginning it was created--this is evidently clear from observation of our universe. However, something that doesn't have a beginning doesn't have a creating force--it's infinite nature negates the possibility of creation. How can something that always has been, is, and will be, begin? The very fact that it always has been makes it clear that to ask where it came from when it never actually "CAME" is ridiculous. It simply was.

My friend, you will have to take in mind that with the universe coming into existence time came into existence. Without time there's no causation. Therefore there can be no cause without time. Therefore the universe came into existence uncaused and time alike. There's t=0 when there's no cause required and t>0 when a cause would be required.

@MrGlape How do you go about proving any of your claims? & what did they claim that had no evidence? They are not saying that this matter came from anything for which no one has evidence. What they were trying to tell the man was that they are still looking for the answer instead of just saying, "It came from something we can't prove exists." They admitted that the answer is not yet known, but they are not filling in the blanks with God or whatever else when no evidence of such an idea exists.

The caller sounded rather old, and we must keep in mind that older folks are very rigid and trapped in the old days. Simpler times, less scientific knowledge available, racism/sexism was more acceptable, religion was beaten into them, less cultural diversity in their day, etc, etc. On top of all that, the older folks have had many decades of hugging their religion. They wear it like a coat now. There's really no point in even talking to them about it. They are not going to admit they are wrong.
