  • dam.. what he say...???fuck off ,back hom.. how to explain??

  • first off this shit is a ripoff, there is so much shit u gotta do to make them work,,,fuses on the batteryyyyy like wtfs that shit all about, and i put mine in halogen housing and they look and function fine

  • @hyfrSilaz71 The people you blind when you drive by probably think differently.

  • People please don't put HID's into halogen housings. Only idiots do this.

  • you must have felt so shitty when u found out that that wasnt a ground wire but in fact had to be connected to the positive, rookie mistake lol, but good job none the less

  • hey I have a yaris with DRL module too, is there any problem since you installed this bi-xenon without disabling DRL? thanks

  • They do make single Xenon HID kits that do have a hi/lo beam function so that if your car uses single bulbs for both hi and low beams, you do not lose the function of your hi beams.

  • If ur DRL runs off your low beam then u can keep them but if they run off high beam then u must disable them cause ur just blow ur lights, well thats what i heard.

  • Where did you get them??

  • are these Bi-Xenon HID lights legal for your yaris?

  • You can put ground to a battery all my.mobile amateur radio rigs which are high grade state in instructions for black which is negative / ground to go on negative post.of battery and these are 500 watt radios

  • Hey what do you mean you don't need to disable DRL?

I wanted to order bi-xenon HID for my Honda 2008 CRV, but my mechanic said he will have to disable the DRL because DRL runs on low powered high beam. If I wanna keep my DRL working, I need to get the low beam HID, high beam halogen bulb =(

the bi-xenon sounds so much better cuz it has the glare shield too!

  • @BruceLeeSXV The particular Bi-Xenon HID lights that I purchased did not require that the HIDs be disabled. I had read some time ago that they did need to be but in my particular setup with my Yaris, they did not need to be. Your mileage may vary ...

  • @llcooljayce

so your DRL is full power HID?

  • @BruceLeeSXV As far as I know ...

  • @BruceLeeSXV who caresif he has a glare shield aka "shroud"......he but them in a factory housing so theres fuckin glare everywhere

  • you know what, i damaged the lock of the headlight, the spring, it is not going to lock the bulb anymore

hey, the ground goes to the body of the car, not the negative terminal of the battery. lol.

  • you know what, i damaged the lock of the headlight, the spring, it is not going to lock the bulb anymore

  • thank you for the info !! .

  • My friend and I found a faster way to get to the bulbs just turn your wheel all the way to the right to install the left bulb. pop the splash guard off and just stick your hand in<--lol

  • Very manly from this guy to put this video up even tho he did some mistakes. It was easy for him to edit the mistakes out, but he is man enough to put them up. Don't be assholes on him, I bet he knows now that negative wires never have fuses. We never stop learning. Good video, liked!

  • I got the same brand too! Mines are 8000k :)

  • Is your car ground switched?

  • Is there anything like a plug and play xenon headlights? without the ballast and the fuse and that stuff? so that I can just take out my headlight and just put the xenon one in.

  • @shirshakbt there are but they're cheap. i had a 8k set with a secondary bulb for DRL but you had to splice the wires into the plug and about 13 months later when one crapped it fucked up my car's wiring. the cost for them was comparable to the actual set of bi-xenons here so if i knew then what I know now i would have saved about $200 and done it right the first time

  • What about the standard high beam? You have 1 low and 2 high beams now?

  • @bmwfankatwijk1 Bixenon bulbs work like this: If you look when he installs driver side, there is a metal part that he removes from the actual bulb. This blocks the beam of the light while in low mode. When you flip to high beams, a magnet rotates the bulb so that it isn't blocked by the metal and you have high beams. This is the same for both sides giving you high and low on both bulbs. Hope this helps! To OP, everyone makes mistakes. The one you made is common. Keep up the great videos! :)

  • Are you supposed to take the fuse off of the red cable that connects to the positive terminal?

  • whats the difference between bi-xenon and regular xenon?

  • @raulred93 Bi-xenon is low beam and high beam. Regular is just low beam

  • @raulred93 be every careful!!!!! yes biexon is high and low beam but make sure when it flips to high beam yer ballas can make the switch that fast and some bi exon arnt HID's. some are just normal hidgreon. make sure they are HID bright also. Just looking out for you.

  • @serialkissersband Xenon effect probably, You should use them for your main beam, as the ballast do not like being flicked on and off (ie when flashing someone) this can damage your ballasts.

  • u video lame as fuk

  • @serialkissersband HIDs need to be powered by a ballast. Colored bulbs are not true HIDs

  • You should close the comment box. All these douche bag, haters are spamming this video when they should be thankful that you took the time to comment, edit and post a video of how to install HID lights. My 2 cents.

  • @godrilla Thanks for the comment. Haters gonna hate.

  • good job blinding EVERYONE

  • First of all this is not a Bi xenon kit. Bi xenon kits have 2 bulbs next to each other and 4 ballasts. But thats ok common mistake. This is a dual beam kit. Secondly, not all HID kits require projector headlights. The position of the hid arc in the headlight housing determines the way the light is scattered. The cheaper the kit, the less the give a tiny rats ass where the arc is. An easy fix to this is Focus eye by Doop HID. And you dont have to spend $150.

  • watch?v=Vk5yYN2n2k4

  • I bought 1 kit HID from this company. that's good car-hid.com

  • terrible video not detailed it confused me instead of help me... thanks anyways

  • Nice way to teach while learning Lol .. I still thank you cause it's good to learn from the mistakes of others

  • Lol grounding a fuse lmao also take ground off negative side of battery or you will die one day on side of road

  • you fail man

  • why would you ever ground a fuse? y.c.s.

  • on minute 5:20 the housig, the half covered part has to be upside or downside

  • get the O-NEX

  • @zillsburyy You have one too? XD I just got mine, is it any good?

  • @rlmotionpictures not yet. but if and when i do get one, it will be the O-NEX they are japanese

  • well done.

  • off topic, but. who would buy a fucking car with the speedometer in the fucking middle of the dash? Let alone, who the fuck would design a car so fucking retarded? And why are you putting cool looking lights on a J.UN.K car, lmao?

  • @oxycodonez do you have any money to buy a "stupid car with the speedometer in the middle of the dash" you unemployed 24/7 youtube watching bum? This clip is not about a preference of cars but about fitting bi-xenon.

Save the adolescent/funny comments for your friends.

  • Glad I could help!

  • Dude your so awesome for that. I installed my hids and got one side working, saw where you changed it to the other side because there was a positive and neg. I went out changed it and now it works. your video saved my day. Thank you!

  • Nice work there dude --- I am considering installing a universal set on my Jeep Liberty

But it seems like more trouble than its worth..The wiring is also a bit messy on all these kits.

I did just install higher brightness bulbs last week -- but they seem almost the same as my old bulbs.--- Why dont these damned companies incorporate the ballast in the new bulb assembly -- just add them to the end of the bulbs ----and then plug the original harness into that ??????

Oh well -- one day .

  • I have a problem so any help can do...I install the bi-xenon hid kit but only only side will light up...I already tested both ballast and bulbs my alternating them, but still only the one on the left far away from the battery lights up...I'm guessing the relay is bad..what do you guys think...let me know..

  • Thanks for the video!

For everyone who is laughing at him grounding the wrong wire, if you're so smart, why are you watching this video?

  • to mount the ballasts are they just self taping skrews?

  • @EvanFilms The screws that I used were self tapping screws as the holes that were available did not have a thread to them. Hope this helps. Cheers

  • @llcooljayce yes thank you sir

  • lol to fit to my car i hadd to remove all the air intake for the engine and alln the battery and wiring harness for the front, what a ball ace

  • u sound like a man that would drive a yaris lol

  • @psykho15 you sound like a man that would drive a rickshaw.

  • @llcooljayce Nice comeback, only took you 29 days

  • @mgrande11 I would respond to your witty observation but I have to wait 28 days. It's part of my non-compete contract.

  • @llcooljayce why get all defensive, it would appear that you do drive a yaris....?

  • @psykho15 If you have a problem with yaris drivers go buy a Smart...

  • this is fake HID headlight. Real one doesn't have filament.

  • @KatiushaVN4 have you seen a real one? because they do, The xenon gas just allows the fillament to produce a higher intensity of light that is discharged (a.k.a. High.Intensity.Discharge, HID)

  • @paintballgundown8

Stop talking nonsense! Do your homework before talking, dumbass

  • @paintballgundown8 You are the one talking nonsense! Proper HID bulbs DO NOT have a filament, the gas is vapourised to allow a high intensisty arc to be produced between to electrodes. If there was a filament there would be no arc!

  • anything with fuses is an obvious indication that it should be connected to 12 volts....why would any ground need a fuse? haha well atleast you learned from this experience :)

  • @TheAudiophile12 in some situations the groung is actually your signal wire to turn something on and requires a ground its very rare but does happen

  • sloppy very sloppy!!!

  • One thing... you're going to be blinding everyone in the road... You suck HID light bulbs in an Halogen Screen (headlight) this is just wrong and in some developed countries its even illegal. With xenon the best way to go is Projector headlamps that provide that sharp horizontal divider line.

  • @joanbarros First off, I have never been high beamed for my headlights ... not once. Secondly, I spent $150 and I drive a Yaris ... do you really think I'm going to spend extra money when I don't need to?

  • the fact that you haven't been high beamed even once DOES NOT mean that you are not a dickhead...just because the other drivers don have the time to argue with you.....

  • @joanbarros its a bi-xenon hid bulb, meaning it has high and low beam settings... how can you blind somebody if your just using low beam?

  • OMG......

  • Stoped tha video wen he said it was a yaris lmao waist of money ahahahaha

  • Judy sux

  • I am Judy from Xencon HID.

I spend much time and Money to see youtube in China, but still can not see the vedios. How pity!

  • @ 5:40 did he really ground a hot wire with fuses to a ground wow

  • @Xtace2000 lol i saw that too, i guess this video shows you need minimal mechanical know-how to install one of these kits

  • Does any one know if he is actually right about not having to disable drls? I used to have hids. I just bought a new set the new ones I got are digital and bi. My drls run off the low but with reduced power I don't think being Bi-Xenon would change that. If someone else can clarify that that would be great. He doesn't seem so sure.

  • Bi-Xenon are HIDs in high and low beam. Xenon are just for low beam. Xenon implies HID.

  • Comment removed

  • whats the differance between bi-xenon and xenon? and are they the same as hid? i have a 96 mercedes benz e320 that i am trying to pimp out. any advice?

  • @flyfly4u Bi-xenon lamps basically have the high-beam and low-beam within one bulb. Some vehicles contain two bulbs on each side, each of which is activated for high- and low-beam.

  • You really don't know that much about hids

  • I dont like the idea of only hooking to one headlight relay.

My kit hooks to each headlight, but of course I dont have bi-xenon. I may just have to wire something else into the extra relay ;)

  • He should know not to start a car in a closed garage... carbon monoxide.

  • @Timtech26 its a newer car, newer cars are extremely clean and its unbelievable how these machines run these days.

  • you should remove the positive and not the negative plug from the battery.

  • you know its illegal rite because you don't have projector housing for those hids

  • WHO CARES

  • @xhenryma just adjust the lights to go down more

  • what size fuses did you wire to the battery from the ballasts?

  • you first have to mark the current hologen light beam at the wall, after instal the xenon, tune the headlights at the same markings

  • LMAO you throught the fused wire was a ground......srry i just thought it was funny.

  • Great camera work and making a nice smooth presentation!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You sound like Michael Cera, nice vid !

  • About to install my HID 6000K Hi low kit : D

I love how you explained the Ballast connections D:

haha yeah ur Fuse was grounded at first that was the incorrect part : D

  • question: i got a mercedes i want the high beams also to be blue..cant i jst change the bulb? insttead all that messing around?

  • hahaha fat ass ballast

  • does your yaris use 9003/H4 stock lights?

  • Ur TSX has stock Xenon ???

  • TSX has stok Xenon HID's. I know because I own a TSX :)

  • whats the stock K (kelvin) on the TSX HIDs?

  • at least 6000k. It doesn't say anywhere in the manual.

  • 4300k

  • i think that all the stock are 4300K

  • @GTRPower29 5000k is the stock K on any vehicle that is standard with them

  • Where did you buy this xenon kit, I've been searching the web and I found that advanced speed shop sell it but I just wanted to know if that's where you got them. thanks!

  • No problems whatsoever

  • have u had any problems with this kit?

  • also wich one is better a 35 watt or the 55 wat ones??

  • no doubt,55w is come out stronger light

  • how much for the bi xenon?? they say i need a Relay for 9007 bi xenon.. its a 2003 dodge ram.. ist that true??

  • Sorry, I don't represent Xenon-Vision ... I would suggest contacting them directly. Cheers

  • @llcooljayce can i plzknow the website were u got the bi xenon hids at

  • @chavitasuper38 you dont need a relay thats what they told me also cuz one of my bulbs would not turn on it was a 2003 dodge ram also all you have to do is flip the connector around on the ballast where the bulb wont turn on its that simple.

  • if you want to change the color you should not buy a bulb..you will risk messing up the circuit..just spend the money and get the kit...you wont be sorry..if you are just replacing a blown bulb its is best to go to the dealer and get the OEM bulb

  • wtf r u talking about?

  • Thanks this really helped! I got mines yesterday and seen this video last night and this mourning with no gitch! Thanks!

  • where can I find H1 bi xenon hid bulb for sale. These H1 bi xenon bulba are hard to find. If anyone could help it would be grately appreciated.

  • you cant get h1 bixenons you can only get them in H4
