one thing i must say is that the mg zr must have the best induction sound in the world as far as in-line 4 engines go.

Have you tried the pipercross ZR induction kit? My dad has pipercross on his ZR and sounds Awsome, Not sre how much more bhp he is getting. If you wnt t increase the bhp you can buy whats called a Turbine exhaust. Look them up on here and see what you think.

Ok, is 3 or 4 hp really gonna make a differance? I used to have an Audi S4 Bi-turbo and I manged to get from 265bhp upto 380bhp, cost a few quid, but a bit more worth while that the micro gain! :)

@jasnbl well given that I had a cold air feed running straight to it and that they have 101hp out of the box, and that i had it with a print out of 109hp inc my exhaust, I would say it most likely GAINS me by about 3 or 4hp ;)

hey bro did you add an exhaust trim? If so, did you have to alter the stock one in anyway?

@Hazsgs I did originally, until i got a full custom exhaust made up, and the trim just clamps onto the original tail pipe with 3 bolts with allen key fitments normally, so a 5min job :) just make sure you get one that will fit in the pre-cut exhaust recess

Hi yeh got it in april i was wanting blue but there was a mint yellow 105+ atomix se so a went an looked and fell in love with it!

it has a pipercross induction which sounds really good but wanting to change it to a k&n coz they look better under the hood!

but there wicked cars! just done a service my self oil, coolant a don't wanna risk that head gasket it's only done 40k and is 04. have u had any problems with the headgasket? :)

@adam66402 ahhh nice! goodstuff mate, well ya see thats the thing, the mg has got such a bad rep that MG has become "My Gasket".. however mine has now done 79k still on the first one and going strong, so i suppose its more of how you look after it, and more importantly, how cool you keep the engine :) enjoy mate happy driving in your sexy sexy sexy car :D lol

yeh like the sound of 40mm dumping and the rims white will show it off, don't think i would do the mirrors white but you can try it to see what u think an ask people if unsure

yeh man :) Ive just bought a second hand pair of mirror caps which are just the covers that are painted on the mirrors, picked them up real cheap :) il get them sprayed up bright white then put them on, see what they look like, if theyre crap il just swap back onto stocks ^_^

yeh man do it :) altho im gona leave all the skirts standard on mine, next for me is dumping it by 40mm with PI coils and powder coating the rims bright white :) im considering doing the wingmirrors in matching white but not sure if the whole "euro" styling would work on it, what you think?

nice car i really like mg zr's i currently have a saxo but don't know if i should get a saxo vtr or mg zr?

thanks mate :) bare in mind that the vtr altho fast is a 1.6 and only putting out 101hp, where as the mg zr 1.4 puts out 105hp and the 1.6 i think is nearer to 120 :) mine is dyno'd at 109hp thanks to the k&n and the scorpian race through pipe :) of course im biased but i would say the zr every time :) GO BITISH :D
