This model of HMS Howe is in the Glasgow Museum of Transport. This closed a couple of weeks ago but the new museum on the banks of the River Clyde, not far from where the Howe was built, is due to open some time next year. The museum has many fine models, including the Queen Mary, the Queen Elizabeth, the QE2 and the battlecruiser HMS Hood. Well worth a visit!
@HMSDaring1 Don't know about all the best stuff always being up north. I believe the Science Museum has a fine selection of model ships, as does the Imperial War Museum and a museum in Barrow-in-Furness. Just so ha[[ens that the Queens, the Hood, were "Clyde Built".
These are builders models originaly.
