girl i thank you for these tutorials because the glue has broken out all of my hair...and i try to keep it braided but i want a flowie( doubt if thats a word) but that look...ha....Thanks again....
@htownsqueakist At least you need to know how to do the cornrows because that will be your base. Check out my website. The link is on my profile. Subscribe!!!
OMG!!!!! This is an excellent video and you're an excellent teacher!!!! Ha ha... you make learning this fun and entertaining and you've answered so many questions about the whole net thing! I am sowing my hair right now and I am very very picky about how it should look: natural and seamless! I am working on my invisible part right now and I am not GLUING IT, I am SEWING it!! As of right now, I am sewing the weave to my own hair and not the net.
That is before I watched your video. I won't be doing that next time. What you said makes sense because I want my hair to breathe and I NEED to keep it moisturized and greased. My hair soaks up grease like a vacuum cleaner so that's why I didn't care to use the net. But the products you've mentioned helps put me at peace with the net. I have a mini fro under my processed and heavily damaged hair;
that is why I vowed to never put a perm on my hair ever again because it's not worth stressing your natural hair just to get so called silky locks that won't lay the way you want it anyway. I am glad to know that someone is flossing her fro while taking care of it and yet having the freedom to pull off different looks! You should honestly have your own hair school or class and get PAID to teach this!!! You really make an EXCELLENT teacher!
Hi girl, just have to big you up. I'm a black girl in Japan and trust me, where I live no one can take care of my hair. Your videos have have really helped me. If I knew how to send you pics, I would definitely upload one for you. Thank you soo much....keep up the good work
@JenJen123x i guess its ok but i think she was trying to say that the net lets ur hair breathe bc it has openings, while the stocking cap just covers ur braids..
I'm tired of glue and the hair that I want is really expensive and for somebody to do it too would just be extra expensive so I want my mom to learn how to do it.
@SuMAnT1816 and sewing can last for 3 months but glue can last for like 2 or 3 weeks and with sewing your hair will growwwwwwww trust me you shold see my hair now it !
nets help to keep the weave hair and the natural hair seperated, its better to sew on top of a net then right on top of your hair, and the black net, helps so if the weave moves you dont see straight though to the skin and allows the weave to last longer especially if its human hair and needs to be washed periodically.
I am trying this tomorrow....well technically today. So I am watching all the videos and trying to get a better feel on how to do this and taking notes. I will share with you how it turned out. Thanks kiannaluv
i love the video but im a pro stylist and dandruff n dry scalp are not the same thing dry scalp is smaller flakes and dandruff is like a waxy feeling(BIG FLAXES) clumpy fungi. its harder to get out without a medicated shampoo. just a heads up.
ran across this by accident, 3 days after i spent 150 on a full head sew in!!! i will definately be sharing this with my sisters who can cornrow, and see if we cant get this done at home next time!
I recommend Catos (store) honestly stores for plus size women have the right fit and I think they can measure her so that it's the right bra so she isn't sagging at a young age....
wel i thought that sence all ur doing is simply sewing hair in2 a braid i would say no but i just wanted 2 make sure becuz im trying 2 talk my mom in2 getting a partial weave to thicken her hair but shes uncompfortable with the idea so i just wanted 2 c from a proffessional.
I wouldn't encourage people to do this if it was harmful honey, my hair has grown and thickened it would only break if you don't know what you're doing
I read that you were trying to let your real hair grow out....if you were to stop adding fake hair which causes stress to your natural hair, and braiding it in the same pattern that really weakens the hair a lot. If you stop doing the things you do to your hair it will grow even longer fast and more healthy than ever before....belive me I know dis. Also you need to deep condition your hair every other week to rebuild it from the stress from the braids if you want to still rock the weav.
First of all I NEVER add fake har to my head I add HUMAN HAIR to it, second my hair is growing just fine due to the fact that braiding pattern isn't always the same, and honestly deep conditioning takes place with my hair so b4 you start the lecture make sure you know whats going on
lmao yer so funny good video i cut my hair and was natural 4 about a year it was a lil longer than urs is here but u was so tired of keeping it in a headband i weaved it n got micros but i still got impatient n permed then cut it now i kinda miss it lmao anyway good and funny video 5stars
OIk, so I did my own sew in and i used the wet n wave human hair. My scalp itched SOOOO bad. I washed and conditioned and oiled my scalp before I put it in. ZI had to take it out. Is that normal.? Someone said that I can be allergic to the hair . Any tips chic
yes it's possible depending on the brand and your scalp could just possibly absorb oil quickly you would want to oil your scalp daily and walk around with a bottle if you need to lol i do, just like your skin your scalp could dry up quickly and maybe the oil you use does nothing for you, you should try something new that could possibly stay on longer try tea tree oils
Check out products made by Groganic. It has a wide range of products for dry scalp and deep tingling conditioning. My favorite it Grow n Wild and an Ice oil that comes with a medicine dropper to get in between braids and tracks. Try it, i think you will like it. Great product for damage control and getting your hair stronger.

Sumant1816 you should try braiding before you sew in the weave. It's much healthier for your hair than glue!

how do i sew in a weave with a part on the right side? is it in the way i cornrow my hair? hellllppp
needmula 3 years ago
ok heres a question for sewing on the net and the weave...do you sew stitch by stitch one next to the other or cornrow to cornrow?
Sowhat20036 3 years ago
I sew every other stitch and do the cornrow it doesn't really matter I just do whatever I think will make sure it stays on my head
