  • Have you ever tried the breath of fire? Or Conscious breathing while exercise? It really helps alot especially the breath of fire.

  • some pretty beast calves ;)

  • Thx for the vid. Very useful but how many times shall I repeat it in order to burn fat and loos weight ? BTW I'm a beginner Iv never done an intense cardio workout, and I'm not that fat my weight is normal just need to get red of 5kilos

  • Thanks for the post. I needed this

  • Interesting note you made there! That it's not really about the rope, but that we want to move our body in a coordinated fashion. I never looked at it that way for some reason. So jumping jacks work too, I read in the comments? That's great! I'll try this out :)

  • simple and straight to the point workout, well done sir thanks!

  • Nice little workout, I have a rope round here somewhere I should probably dig that up and give this a go.

  • I have to say, this is the most helpfull advice iv got...I just had a baby 3 months ago and iv been eatting right and excersizing just about everydayfor the past 6 weeks,iv lost inches but not much weight,I think I need more cardio,I will definatly start my work out with this...thanks

  • does this by any chance have an effect on abs..?

  • @ReggieGotsDat - Of course :-)

  • @HomeFitnessTV so it defines the looks ? more or less brings it out ?

  • @ReggieGotsDat - Mmm Hmmm.

  • @ReggieGotsDat All cardio exercise has an effect on abs. Definition is created by ab specific exercise but the less fat on your body the more visible (or prominent) your abs will be.

  • could you do jumping jacks instead of the jump roping?

  • @pamamagicpower Of course.

  • tell me your real diet??

  • @devillovesbible French toast with bacon for breakfast; Double cheese burger with fries for lunch with ice-cream; half a large pizza for dinner with a hot fudge sundae for dessert.

  • cool, easy and simple. I like!!

  • thanks

  • Great vid.. I will be using cardio workout in my training!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i jump rope on treadmill

  • i have lost 10 pounds in the last two weeks just by doing this exact routine for 15 minutes a day. and by drinking a whole lot more water than my usual.

    guys. this. works.

  • @HomeFitnessTV I just want to say that this video makes me wanna work out every moment.

I've been doing these ex. , could you tell me in what amount of time i will see the results? Thank you.

  • great video!! I think I'm goingto try this. about how long before I see resuts? ps I'm 14 and not really fat, but have a little bit more stuff around my lower stomach. I want to be more confrident. any other exercises you recommend?

  • @ReEsEsPiEcEs815 I've been starting to see a trainer with similar to cross-fit exercises and it really works, right now I'm stuck because I got caught by candies and chocolates and laziness, but the first month I lost many fat and weight. Just eat healthy, no sugar, eat fruit, vegetables, etc. and go out for jogging, "basic" exercises like sit-ups, push-ups, squats can work great. I already got some muscles in my abs and I never touched an exercising machine

  • I realize this guy in this video isn't gay, but I am seriously in love with him. I imagin him coming into our love nest after mowing the lawn, and I have a ridiculous fifties type dinner waiting on the dining table for him. After adoring him for dinner, we retire to the living room for a movie together as we snuggle over a glass of red wine....sigh.....the heck with it...we can just make out.

  • how about doing jump rope and burppes as welkl will i loose alot of body fat

  • love how you're making use of the small space

  • Your mug looks okay to me.

  • I just did this before breakfast :) I'll go again after breakfast. Great video

  • "up and downs" does it matter how fast you do them?

  • I can't wait for 10-minute trainer to arrive in the mail!

  • when can i see results?

  • This video makes me want to workout

  • how much calories do u burn by doing for like 30 min?

  • How long do I do this routine?

  • @dodocrest repeat it several times if you wish.

  • If you just use the jumprope, will you burn much fat then?

  • @jumpstump69 Yes - the jumprope is great fat-burning cardio.

  • thanx man

  • I started following this video as I wanted a beach body for my holiday, and I got one, great work pal!!!

  • Thanks 4 the vid I started doin that a month ago and I almost got a six pack

  • This is a great video. As I viewed it i got really anxious to give it a try. My workout group will be doing this for sure

  • which better using treadmill or using jump rope ?

  • @sommerlive treadmill by far...

  • @sommerlive - Both.

  • do you do that for only like 5 min or for like 20-30 min ?

  • The up and downs are perfect for me...I work out at home so i don't have a lot of room, and i haven't gotten any machines.

But why do you mix them up with the jump rope?. Couldn't the cardio just be one of the 2?.

  • Thanks ALOT dude! i can do this perfectly, with no difficulties and i actually feel my body working. Hope i see results =)

  • how much weight can a person lose if they do this for a month or two?

  • @HomeFitnessTV if you're 14 how many calories would you burn from doing this workout once a day? I'm not fat, but I just want to look a tiny bit better in a bikini for summer.

  • @mahem46 Absolutely!

  • i was wondering if running in place with some dumbbells in hand can replace the jump rope?

  • @KILLAKINLAW459 Nahhh... Try jumping-jacks.

  • I am fully capable of jumping rope, however I had never thought of the sock with tennis balls in them idea before. I actually do not have tennis balls, so I put a small handful of pennies in the sock. Now, to my surprise, this actually works my shoulders pretty good while im skipping imaginary rope. Normal jump ropes would never work my shoulders, but I can feel it real good with socks and pennies after a while. Id highly recommend people to experiment with this idea.

  • Thanks for sharing!

  • @HomeFitnessTV

How many calories do you burn in one hour ?

  • @AlmereTheHague Depends what I'm doing during that hour.

  • @HomeFitnessTV doing slow motion

  • I've only Been doing this for a week and im seeing results!

  • We have the same computer table. Speaking of it, you gotta change your fat pc screen haha.

  • Simple and effective. My respect, mate

  • Hmm i have a question what if i would only do like a solid 1h of jumprope jumps with some brakes ? would that be a good cardio workout :) ?

  • I was watchin this thinkin my lil girl has a jump rope!So i took it out in the garage did this circuit for an hour and WOOOH!!! im feelin good right now!!!

  • I suggest you people if you want to also have a good cardio and add some muscle in your legs or fatituge the legs ,use air resistance exercise like that star jumps after you do the mountain climpers that this guy does in slow motion, i think we will develop exploding power!

  • Thanks for the idea with the socks and Tennis balls. I can't do normal jump rope, but your idea was great!

  • nice..thanks:)

  • OLL ROIT!

    Time to get fit.

  • hey dude... love the video and all but do you have any tips for shin splints because when i jump rope, my shins begin to throb after a while

  • @overdressedXO - yep! :-))

  • Hey that sock-trick instead of a jump rope was awesome, because I don't really have room to use a real rope. So easy, I don't understand why I never thought of it before?

  • Well done! this works! thanks

  • The up and downs are called "Burpees" if you jump instead of stand.

They're called "Super Burpees" if you jump your feet out (in the air about 45degrees) instead of stepping out.

Did these in Wado-kai Karate, hate them so bad, your shoulders and triceps burn for days!

  • well i lost 10 pounds :) all i did was cut bad food outa my diet for about 3-4 months but i want to lose more quickly and have energy i will do these for those days i cannot jog due to work :)

  • interestig i always thought the up and downs were done fast? thats how i used to do it, but i guess the aerobic effect is better than speed right?

  • like this one really gets the heart pumping.

  • Bad Ass work out...Man I mess feeling that burn again!

  • Great face for radio... when i got that i fell off my chair laughing.

  • omg! this is so much harder than it looks. i start with 10 jumps, do 10 up and downs, then repeat adding 10 jumps each time till i get to 100.. then i reverse it goin down to 10 jumps. i.was.WIPED! such a good workout.

  • If you want to lose love handles simply get a broom hold it from both ends and go to the right and left without bending your knees this works try it.

  • @Rek999999999 - Not really.. That's old school nonsense...

  • @HomeFitnessTV how old are you???

  • @Rek999999999 dude you cant choose where to lose weight

  • @Rek999999999 there is no such thing as spot fat removal. your body decides where to pull the fat from

  • he's hot

  • Awesome video sir.

  • does this burn belly, hip and chest fat?

would adding a push up in the 'up and down' do me favours?

    please reply asap. thanks.

  • @moabdah9 cardio will burn fat across the whole body, unfortunately you cant choose where fat will be lost and where your body will hold on to it, just genetics.

  • @moabdah9 You can't target where you lose fat from, it just generally comes off from cardio and dieting. No matter how many situps you do, you won't be able to see abs under the layer of fat.

  • @moabdah9 You can not target where your body burns off fat. Thats a myth. All you can do is do cardio and your body decides where and how that fat comes off. Imagine dipping water out of a pool- the water goes down on the entire surface of the pool, not just where you dipped it out.

  • This is a great simple workout; thanks!

  • Love this workout... well, I loved watching it... hopefully I'll still love it after I try it today! I do daycare in my home so I can't get to the gym because I also have a 4 year old and a 6 month old.... and a not so nice amount of weight still holding on from while I was pregnant. I really hope this works for me!!

  • If you dont have a jump rope can you just stand there and jump up and down? same thing

  • will this help me to lose the damn love handles ?????

  • so u do two sets of the jump rope, and two sets of the up and downs, then its over, or do more sets?

  • do i need to stop eating rice and meat etc... to do this exercise?

i always eat a lot but i never get fat

  • Thanks!!! This session helped my program!!

  • is it true that when you jump you are working out your grips???

  • hi im very new to training and am looking for simple workouts to do at home and im a little confused right now i currently do a serious of sits up crunches 3 times a week and someone told me i need to do cardio and push ups as well to lose my fat but heres where im confused do i do them all in the same work out one after the other or do i swap work outs each day ty

  • I really like this it goes to prove you don't have to spend hundreds of pounds to keep in shape

  • are jumping jacks a good alternative if you don't have a jump rope?

  • @TheJackedTrump - Absolutely!

  • Are all these exercises good preperation for doing dumbells and bench press?

  • @LAMPARDIO - Yes they are.

  • i like that saying! "a great face for radio" hahaha xD

i like this! its really simple but i know for sure the up-downs work really well, we did them in wrestling and if you jump instead of standing, its ridiculously tiring xD thanks for the inspiration, sir!

  • @KralleCR - my pleasure! - Spread the word.

  • @HomeFitnessTV 1:58 what does that move do? i am a little fat and people tell me to do cardio but i cant seem to find what will work best

  • will this help us to loose fat and reduce our 'flat tire' on our stomach? (desperate to have great abs)

  • @spiker2309 - Yes it will.

  • @spiker2309 sure, by doing cardio 2 months

  • You totally do look Amazing! Thank you for sharing!

  • @multifariousgemini - Thanks!

  • if u do this whilst wearing a sauna suit u will notice results pretty kwik . i used 2 wear 1 during my hour long boxing training and i was losing weight afta every workout

  • @penfoldstew if you eat differently it might help. certain foods trap in your fat, like breads and starches

  • Thanks man, needed some tips on doing cardio in small spaces. This should get me through the winter, and planning to do swimming at summer.

  • I like it because it is simple and it WORKS. Thanks!

  • Thanks! was looking for something to start off with at home and I used to love jump rope as a kid but I have beams on my ceiling- great tip with the socks! i didn't have tennis balls so i used bags of popcorn kernels in the socks- worked great!

  • hey, great vid, can this work for puppy fat?

  • @MrKoala18 - Puppy fat???

  • @HomeFitnessTV Cool dance moves with the jump rope :D

  • your sooooo hott! ;D

  • @seventy73three - Thank you, '73' --- Joey

  • does this really work?

  • Damn you are right I does work

    Thanks

  • I took up running a few months back but now it's so cold i Sweden that it's a strain on the airways to be out there, so I went on youtube to find some pointers on home excercises like these and it was kind of a face palm moment really, since we shouldn't need any friggin pointers at all to get goin with basic stuff like this. But I was surprised at how effective it was, more so then many of my jogging rounds, so thanks for the tip! :)

  • I'll never use a skipping rope my ceiling's too low!

I guess its off to gets some socks....no tennis balls though....maybe some giant lumps of cheese instead. plus i can eat it after! problem solved. now lets watch the rest of this video!

  • Great advice! Thank you very much!

  • instead of doin tht one workout u can do burpees if u want to go more intense

  • if i just do this and dont work out to get buff, will this slim me down?

  • This guy is so cool and confident.

    Keep it up Lieutenant.

  • how many day or moths does it takes to burn fay

  • Great stuff Joey!

  • @kodjoworkout Thanks! - spread the word, kodjo!

  • Great advice on these tennisball-sock jumps!

Now i can finally get used to jumping rope and get down my rhythm.. without entangling my legs all the time..

Maybe my wife (who used to be captain on a skipping team in China) will eventually stop laughing at me when i stumble around.. :D

  • @KmanMonkeyPig Keep us posted, Kman!

  • @HomeFitnessTV

The tennisball sock jumps helped me out a lot. Now skipping is not that big of a problem. Skipping and intervall training has improved my overall conditioning a lot. It even helped me to perform more reps on the benchpress. I used to press 70kg about 12-13 times.. and now i press it 20 times. I have also lost a few kilos of weight... Have not been under 80kg in years.

Indoors cardio is great since there is about a half meter of snow outside this time of the year.. and slippery.

  • thank you. very helpful.

  • This looks like the perfect start on the road to better fitness. I'm not overweight, but I'm flabby and can't remember the last time i exercised. I think once i get fit, i'll be encouraged to do better in other aspects of my life as well. Thank you!

  • @AdamCE91 yess exactly :)

  • Can you do this everyday?

  • Lol the "up and downs" hurt wen your doing em fast. But they work u good. Try em!

  • cool dude

  • Thanks for this video man! I don't have much time to go to gym right now, and this is just perfect for me!

  • lol i wish i looked like this that would b awsome but im a chubby kid rofl i tryed working out for a mounth and eating rly healthy and i didnt loose 1 pound it was so stupid i was eating chicken & salid and lots of greens and working out for like 1 hour + a day mainly jogging & walking for like 1 hour also riding my bike

  • @cccspizza the thing is, you have to eat the same amount you ate before in different portions of different foods. there is no such thing as overeating as long as you burn your callories, you should probably take in 2k callories, 30% of which should be protein.

  • @cccspizza Just keep doing it and you will see results don't give up.

  • You have just inspired me sir

  • Awsome workout I´m going to try it, thanks!

  • Adding this to my regular routines. So simple and easy :D

  • damn i feel like vomiting after doing this exersie :S i gues my body is not use to it.

  • My trainer advised the best fat burn cardio for me is about 1 hr alternating between a HR zone of 96-111 for 2 mins then to HR zone 111-131 for 1 min.

I just got it so I'm not sure if that's going to be effective or not. I have less 9 % body fat now and I'm 25 at 5'7".

  • Thank you Joey! I am a new mom and need quick routines to fit in throughout the day! I will share this with my hubby too, he wants to lose few lbs! Probably important for all to remember to keep tailbone and sit bones (two bones in your bootie) always pointing toward your heels. This will keep you low back long, stress free, and your abs engaged!

  • Ive got to get into shape...this video is going to be my start!

  • Looking VERY good joey!! great workout...

  • ha greaat face for radio. that was funny

  • thanks for the advice :)

  • thanks alot man nice 1

  • Comment removed

  • hi i tried this today and i loved it , i was sweating heaps of 3 sets.

i was just wondering how often do u do this a week and what do you eat after. how long after as well.

    thx

  • How many times should I jumprope underwater?

  • If you are in an environment where a jumping rope simply wont work, could you substitute it with jumping jacks?

  • @pinkypromise118 I have a suggestion... pretend your jumping rope. (Do the exact same motion but without the rope)

  • no one can use" the house is to small" excuse for not working out !!! You put them to Shame

  • "My friends always told me I had a great face for radio"

  • so do u actually burn fat if u skipp rope?

  • estas bien rico kiss

  • Great Vid!

  • i dont think 5 minutes are enought to lose weight but they are enought to go for stronger abs!!!

  • lol it took me time to master the skipping, i did it in boxing training before. but i need to lose a little weight so yh im back to work out lol.

  • if i brisk walk in the morning and eat six small healthy meal a day can i lose weigth and become skinny or do i have to jog in the morning to lose weight hope not cuz i cant jog cuz i got joint problem what u suggest can i lose weight with brisk walking or is not enougth to lose weight cuz everytime i jog i get pain like in less than a week on my leg and cant work out for like months

  • Try elyptical machines.

  • @smoovovi There are other cardio exercises you can do besides jogging that will help you lose weight. Jogging is a high impact activity that can cause stress on joints. Have you ever tried the eliptical machine at the gym? That is low impact so it will be easy on your leg. Or if you do not have access to that, you can try swimming.

  • @smoovovi Brisk walking can help but the important thing is that you keep your heart rate up at least thirty minutes a day. For fat loss you need an hour of cardio but it doesn't have to be all in one day. It can be collectively through the day. The most important thing is to keep your heart rate up and keep it there to fat burn.

  • I'm 16 years old 6'2" and weigh 230 lbs...im going to try this a couple times a day and see how my progress is in a month...

  • Thanks for the upload this is what I was looking for :-)

  • oh my gosh, that was fab....love it

  • Its good you post vids like these i need to follow a work out scheme Nice vid keep up the good work

  • how long do you think it would take to lose say about 30 pounds. while maybe on a low carb diet. with this cardio workout and doing the 8 minute abs.

  • also guys add a few sit-ups or push ups in between to mix it up...its good to get the body working in other areas and not to stress it then rotate!!! keep working at it, 15 mins a day for begginers 30/45 if you want to go extreme, try a jog or a brisk walk before or post workout and within 2-3 months as long as u eat a reasonable diet u will see progress, great vid btw...peace

  • Question.

I run like twice a day both times only about a mile.

I have pcos and have had all this weight gain and its so depressing and ive been trying to find the best workout IN my home. I would like to lose like 35 pounds.

I havent tried this yet, but im going to as of tomorrow..

so does this rly burn fat? I wanna work on my whole body. but mostly my stomach, love handles and thighs. I would really appreciate it if you could reply to this or message me. I could really use some great advice.
