Thank you so much for posting this! Di Stefano, despite his technique flaws, is by far the most expressive and passionate tenor I have had the pleasure of watching and listening. He always reminds me that people don't just respond to a "pretty voice" but also to an expressive singer who is unafraid to pour out his heart in front of an audience.
May I ask where you got this video? If there is a DVD of this recital, I would love to watch the whole concert!
This singing cuts deeper into the emotional realm of the listene than any one else i have ever heard. It supercedes singing and even music. This is humanity on display. An example of art.
