I think it is offensive that you use the word "Crazy" to describe his beliefs. You are really not being very objective in this are you. FWIW I know many people that share his beliefs about the 9/11 incident. I do not consider them crazy in any way. As the interviewer said - He has an "alternative view".

The fact of the matter is: Not one person here has any idea what happened on that day of 911. Unless some of yous personaly know the hijackers and every person they met in there lives before they done what they did. We can all give an opinion but none of us know for sure. What a gutsy effort by Andrea to put her beliefs out there. It is a pity that the interview was interspersed by the cynical jabs of the poster. People are entitled to their beliefs. She did not put down her brother but was trying to be honest about her feelings about him. It concerned her that his view of the world was somewhat blackened, but then 9/11 affected us all in various ways.

Regardless Sky does not attack people, the religious do that: he offers a rational perspective, and if he is not afraid to go after "the Pope" or "Mother" Teresa - why should little lovely sectarian Catholic Andrea get a free pass? Think about it - but really... think! You religious tend not to do that.

And her answers, I think, reflect the opinion of the majority of Irish people who identify themselves as Catholic. This is not a Catholicism that would be recognisable to Irish people of two generations ago. The dogma and doctrine has been thrown out, and what remains is a kind of warm and fuzzy bedtime story where everything will turn out fine in the end.
