@atcalzada the thing is most people wouldn`t be that interested in seeing a bird doing nothing but poop.... thats why they give more attention to marnie in their videos (because the viewers are more interested in marnie) which doesnt mean they don`t give their other birds attention when camera is off...i think you see that they love all off their birds , at least i´ve seen some very awsome and happy birds in other videos

you have one of the most amazing and well-behaved ringneck i have seen, i used to work at a veterinary office for birds and i've seen my share of good and bad parrots, but mostly bad, and your Marnie is like a golden child.

@lilbirdlover : Go to Barbara Heidenreich's site "GoodBird". Training a bird is easy, but it takes patience . Open cage and let bird come out on its own. Do NOT frighten bird. Have safflower seed on your palm and hold your hand out and slowly move it towards bird. If it runs, pull away. Each time it comes closer say "good bird" and give seed. No more than ten min per session. Reward only when bird comes tiny bit closer than last time. NEVER do anything to cause loss of trust. Patience.

@SuperOneill123 Cockatiels are some of the most affectionate birds I have seen. The key is to build a relationship with him. Start by moving his cage close to a desk or somewhere you're near, and talk to him quite a bit. Give him treats and toys to build trust. If he comes out and steps up, put him on your shoulder or a fun out-of-cage perch. Eventually, gently scratch his neck and head. I've never seen a cockatiel that didn't like having his head rubbed.

He's an Indian Ringneck, and they're very outgoing if you raise them properly. I think they're all a bit nervous when you first get them; the ringneck we used to have was -extremely- shy for quite a while, but he got really social.

They're very good birds to have for bird-lovers, and they're very smart. Look up AJ the ringneck; he can roll over and golf! :P
