God has reserved the right to raise up a body of firstfruits and call whoever He wishes into it, while the rest of humankind remains temporarily blinded. As noted earlier, Jesus said,

This is part of God's plan. The plan of God is to leave the majority of mankind uncalled and in the dark until the time is right for them to be called.

When is the time right? When God says it is -- it's God's timetable! God is working out His plan of salvation, involving the calling out of what the Bible terms the firstfruits now, in this age, and then calling the rest of mankind later, in the general resurrection following the Millennium. Ultimately, all humans will be given the opportunity to be saved. But it must happen according to God's timetable.

God is working out a plan of salvation among the human race. As part of that plan, God brings some people to repentance now, and others He'll call later. The firstfruits are called ahead of the rest, not instead of the rest. There's nothing special about the firstfruits, except that God chose them before the rest of the world, and they had enough sense to listen to God and respond to His invitation.

Sorry, but I think you're misinterpreting scripture. There are many other verses I could quote that shows that the Jews are God's chosen people, but if we just stick to this verse, it should be enough.
The First covenant applies to the old Testament and the laws that went along with it, and the new covenant refers to the New Testament and those who recognize Jesus Christ as our savior.

They don't hate Americans and I wouldn't even say they hate the American government. I'm sure they don't agree with a lot of things that the government has done though. Let's not group a bunch of assumptions together and put it together as fact. Being Vietnamese, I can tell you that the overseas Vietnamese population does not regret the Vietnam War (besides from the fact that we lost).

Under Saddam, the Iraqi Gov't estimates over 1,000,000 lost lives and that isn't counting the Iran and Kuwait wars. Who was after Saddam? His son sadistic son Uday who tortured Olympic atheltes for losing and is widely known to have picked up random woman off the street to rape and kill. Saddam was bad, his sons would be hell.

Saying 260,000-400,000 Iraqis dead is still better compared the millions Afghanis the Soviets killed is a sad attempt at an argument. According to UN/Iraq/US/British 80,000 Iraqis have died. Also, more died in the Korean War(50,000US, 500K korean, 1 Million Chinese), but you won't find a single S.Korean who regrets the lost of life sacrified for freedom.

As to Saddam's history, we supported him through the worst of his abuses. Don't mention the Kurds as justification, because they haven't suffered under Saddam for a decade after we liberated Kuwait. They had their own defacto state protected under the US military. So try making an argument that makes sense.

lt5lee, I didn't state facts? Everything I said was stated by the administration/its supporters. Read the newspapers/watch the press conferences. So that's a blatant lie on your part. In addition, you stated "Russian Spetsnaz moved WMD's". If this was true, the administration would have held a press conference/pointed it out. I can see the Fox "Nothing" Channel being legally prosecuted for inciting racial? religious hatred.
