I'm really sorry if that was your experience but I work for the AAT and we always re-credit students who suffer a bereavement close to the exams. We don't refund but we do carry the money over to the next exam sitting. Of course, everyone's situation is different but it sounds like it would be worth you calling the Student Services team to discuss your options.

Well I can assure those of you that despite what I wrote, I am far from a grey suited stereotypical accountant....I'm 23 and my my main hobby is kite surfing with the odd skydive, quad bike and wake boarding. Still, my comment stands.

It just feels a little embarrassing...feels a little like what I would imagine it would feel like if you got a valentines card from your mum because you had no one else to send you one....the kind of thing you wouldn't want to brag to your mates about....not cool?

I agree..and i'm far from the typical text-book accountant (not that i'm fully qualified yet) well, they managed to raise a chuckle from me..It was funny..but in an cringy way. I read over the song words and it just made me think nooo..seriously? why would they do that?! haha :)
