  • great job bud qualitys nice brings back some my ole misfits days,to bad emos ruined the seen!

  • No, what inspired him to play in his own band was the other bands that pisses danzig off, one of the bands he hated was journey. so basically is was hatred that inspired danzig to play. HorrorPunk.

  • Journey is terrible

  • @omid11 I dnt know about that, alot of people like it but to danzig it is haha

  • they sound like the band that influenced them that is the damned not joy division

  • belive it or not this is the first song they made

  • Sounds like Joy Division

  • @jake2k9100 true, does a bit!

  • @jake2k9100 Dude, I never noticed that.

  • 20,783

  • He wants to be Jim Morrison.

  • i;m view 20,000!!!!!!!!!

  • @LyndonSmash

lol awesome i love your energy

  • Physcadelic man

  • Lol this is not psycodelic. Its just a rythm on a keyboard just like how the misfits have a rythm with guitar in every other song.

  • @Gopedanarchist and the drummer on this record was a jazz based frummer.

  • @Gopedanarchist

every fucking song is just a rythym

  • do The Misfits have more of this psycodelic sounding songs?

  • halloween 2 is kinda psychodelic

  • wow sounds like the southern death cult

  • Yeah it does sound like the Doors.

  • video legal heim?! num tem porra nenhuma além da música

  • This sounds absolutely nothing like the doors, maybe the voice is similar to Jims, but nothin like the doors.

  • lol why'd the kid who said "this sounds like the doors get +2 and then the kid who said THE EXACT same thing got -2 ? XDXDXD

  • this sounds like the doors.

  • man their first song and its probably the most original....i mean for a misfit song. this is the shit

  • sounds like the Doors

  • one of my all time favorite misfits songs ever

  • wow! less is more...

  • soooo baaaaaaad omg!

  • can anyone verify if they practiced/lived in lodi? an old ex said she lived next door and used to get thrown into her pool by glenn and jerry but i was skeptical.

  • true or false?

  • they did practice in lodi, in jerry & doyles parents garage. if im not mistaken in the late 70's they

practiced in mannys garage or house

  • they did live in lodi

  • cool thanks!

nicole if you ever read this, hi. i now believe you.

  • now i know why she broke up with you, you probaly didnt belive shit she said

    lol

    cool story

  • Cool...........*cough*.......:)

  • for me this is one of the most important song in history of music. People like Glenn Danzig are gods for me

  • The best version are from box set disc 3. i have the coffin box at home...

i like when he says Creep, creep, creep creep. sounds scary :P

  • so do i!!!!!!!

  • oh yeah, the cough/cool 7" vinyl version right? "she" in the 7" version is also wicked.

  • songs about being some thing you are not, not posing, great song, my personal anthem.

  • fiend

    for

    life.

  • I have to say I prefer this version to the Collection II one. Not enough cool bass parts in the rerecorded one.

  • this sounds so fuckin sweet it sounds a lot like the doors but punk

  • ya and i love the doors!.........

  • THE MISFITS ROCK OUT LOUD!

  • This shows that Glen intended to do the more serious samhain/danzig stuff before he wnated to be a punk rocker. I guess the misfits were a wrong path tacken.

  • i 100% agree...

  • Yeah but what a hell of a ride. I think this song is one of his best. The early misfits stuff was so unique. Static age was awesome too.

  • man i love this song

    a fiend for life

  • psychedelic punk

  • an electric piano played through a fuzz pedal no less....

  • Sounds like the beginnings of post-punk.

  • nah dude this IS punk

  • I know. I'm not used to hearing punk withought guitars. Unless Suicide counts.

  • Do you not hear the bass guitar??? Are you deaf?

  • Post-punk is punk, hes just saying it sounds a bit like post-punk, which it does.

  • This stuff is so sick, I have chills right now. I can't believe no one big has covered this.

  • @DikBeater the red hot chilli peppers have included them in dani california

  • @SerwahxGRRL yep yep. Anthony was almost a dead ringer for Doyle!!! sexcellence!

  • @DikBeater its cos they know they cant handle it!! haha

  • no one can cover this

  • Thats true, it was Glen Danzig(vocals/keyboard),Jerry Caiafa(bassist) and Manny(drummer, who was then was replaced by "Mr Jim" Catania.)-Cough cool/She

    1977

  • They never had guitar when they started.

It was just Glen on keyboards and vocals, Jerry on bass and someone on drums. At first I didn't really like this song but now I do. Are there any other bands that sound like this song?

  • the doors i would say

  • @LaydOn032 morison was long dead when this song was made, and (i'm not insulting misfits, i love them) this is far below the level the doors were on.

  • @PerunsRevengeZG ur right, the doors would have a badass heroin indused keyboard solo

  • @PerunsRevengeZG man sorry, but your statement is stupid.

  • 5 stars

  • this is rad. i wish all their songs sounded like this.

  • this is incredible.

  • This is such a great song but does anyone else prefer their rerecord? With the piano and guitar? I do.

  • Piano sounds quit alternative,so sounds good to me!

  • spit up blood, when u cough...cool, kuel, kool,

    cough kuel, cuel, kcool

  • then why is diane credited on this album?

  • Diane was the original bassist, but she left shortly before this was recorded, I think

  • Arnt Jerry only and Glen Danzig the founders of The Misfits

  • glen danzig was the founder, jerry only resurrected the band

  • Jerry only was one of the founding members.

  • She's not. She was simply thanked.

  • does any one have any knowledge of the misfits record that never got released, iam sure it was after their first ep....cause glenn got in a fight with the dude who owned the recording studio so he took one copy of the record with him and decided to rewrite everything which became walk among us...glenn is the only person on earth who has that one record called untitled....i think.....

  • It was the Static Age but that was released by Glenn in 1997

  • its not on any album is it?

  • no this was their first song though and its on their collection

  • Glenn Danzig-Vocals and Electric Piano

    Jerry Only-Bass

    Manny Martínez-Drums

    The best Misfts Lineup

  • Great song

  • I Love the Misfits musics without guitars.

  • Yeah Cough Cool to my knowledge was there first EP.

  • man i miss danzig!

  • it's not on beware, its on cough/cool
