This phone is a disappointment. Touchwiz is regulated and only simulates a smartphone: fine, if you want such a service, but not at smartphone costs. The camera may be 8mp but the quality is average - you DO NOT need a 'larger' image for most applications....it's a waste.

Navigation features are "for a fee!" $10 per month - which you cannot use if unlocked and on another carrier.

Basically NO downloadable apps.

Waste of money folks!!!

This phone is not working for me. For over a year now I returned my phone 4 times now. 1st issue a mystery glare on the screen, 2nd issue phone just freezing, and third issue phone just drop and reboot. Other than that the camera and options are cool.

oh. i got the behold cuz i figured out it was the same phone as the memroir other than the camera. so its up to u, if u like taking more pics, get the memroir, but other than that there is nothin different

The Sony Ericsson K750 would take pics even slower. That is technology from 4 years ago. I upgraded to this phone and the camera is much faster. The reviewer doesn't know apples from organges. He is not happy with the jack for USB, however there is Bluetooth technology onboard which eliminates the need for the USB. Yes, it may be slower data transfer than direct USB but it's wireless technology. It's all about wireless tech convenience. Bluetooth works fine for me with file transfers

The problem with all of these reviews is that each person reviewing devices from these revew websites don't have too much time with each device. They only use it for a few days max I would imagine. Maybe I'm incorrect but I think you need to spend more time with something in order to get a true review. The phone does take pictures quite fas. I upgraded from a K750 Sone Ericsson device wtih 2mp camera. You take a pic with that the people in the pic would have to wait a few seconds before moving

aim isnt free but since you have unlimited texting its not a problem. unlimited includes texts, picture messages, emails, and ims

no you dont need internet to use IM. its a widget and the IMs count as text messages. you dont receive an email like a text. to get to your email you have to go the messaging menu and then you choose email. i use aim mail and it works great.

hp camera is just as slow to take shots like that. settings can also change how fast the shutter is. I am getting this phone. i have 5 children so having a quick camera sounds nice without the extra space. i will touch base if i like it or not

It's a nice device but the problem is that it doesn't excel in either a phone or a camera. 8 mp is awesome but if it takes that long to save a photo shot, then you have to ask yourself if the camera is your real priority. As far as the phone goes, I think it's cool that it's 3G. The touchscreen keyboard is good, and the screen itself is a nice size without having the device being to bulky for everything it does. I'll say again that I think it's for people who want a phone first with a good cam.
