Thanks for the tutorial here, it's pretty straight forward. However, the documentation showing how to do portlet development is really flunky.  Really, there should be a single download (rather than having to download source separate), and then having to create all of these portal/ext/ folders and ant scripts to setup profiles. Good God! Write a simple wizzard application to stream line the setup of the developer environment with eclipse or netbeans.
