  • For those asking how strong you need to be. Basically if you can straddle planche you should get these easy if you follow the tutorial. I'm a slow learner and I still got these real quick because I can straddle planche quite well (I'm weak but very light lol).

  • if your forearms hurt a lot after doing buddha's at first, then you're going them right. My forearms were sore and red for about 2 weeks after I learned them.

  • Nice bro! I picked up from this! I watched Crazy Guen buddha spins and wanted to learn and i stumbled upon this!

    I can now do 3-4 rounds when i just start. 5-6 when i warm up haha

    Only thing is i do all my moves clockwise but i do this move counter clockwise XP

  • Not really, I have friends who can UFO but can't buddha, I can buddha but can't UFO. My understanding is turtles are better to learn as a prerequisite for learning UFOs.

  • it depends on what your like, if you practise this alot with no strength to lift your self it alot longer, but if you have strength to lift yaself up just practise alot. you cant say exactly how long tho

  • i can hold frog stand for 60 seconds n tuck planche for 15 seconds the way i train for tuck planche is that i keep on holding them till i hit 60 seconds for example i hold it for 15 seconds n i drop i get back up n do it again till 60 seconds is over it is working pretty good for me what do u think?

    I could hold the tucked planche for 23 secs, but when i spin, my hand goes down then i knee goes into the forearm right ? then I cant go to the other side and i like still spinning but my hand still planted in the ground and it stay there .. and yeah. it just stuck LOL.

    so in other words, i cant shift to the other arm .

    help please ?

  • i cant hold planch at all haha but i can do a buddha spin, when you put your knees on your arm put all your weight on that arm, when you switch armr you put all the weight on that arm

  • ok its day one for me. i have been trying for mabey thirty mins. i can easily do ten canonball plance presses, but i cant move back and forth, why?

  • whoa 10 planche presses! that's crazy

    When shifting back and forth, really try to **lean into your forearm arm, don't try to just muscle yourself up. Try the exercises I show in the beginning - shifting side to side on your knees and then on your toes. Try to press your body into your arm so much so that the arm on the floor (the one you are leaning onto) is almost at an obtuse angle relative to the floor (i.e. not perpendicular anymore).

    Good luck and **lean into that forearm!

  • hey,

    I think if you are able to hold frog pose for 30 seconds or more (consistently) you should be able to move onto working on the tucked planche. While you might not get it right away, practice those press ups and basket sits to make it solid.
