I know he learned this from YouTube, If you allow your box to go to 2 red lights you risk killing the box! If you did your job right it will take 4 to 5 minutes to heat up enough to reset its self without hitting 2 red lights any sooner and your heat sink is not making good contact. If you want to know why your fix and this one is not lasting I will explain that in my next Video. For now watch my video response about the lights.

2 red lights means it over heat and if you try to push power button it wont turn off thats the lights you need before letting it cool down

Early 360's (circa 2005) didn't even have 'spongy squares'. Thermal paste and the penny fix worked for me. No towels, no freezers.

Dude, I got red ring by playing a fucked version of GOW 2 from the video store. It survived for 2 months then it died. No I'm doin the towel trick. I would reccommend that people put it in the freezer. I tried that and it worked after the GOW 2 incident.

I think it quickly cools the 360, like an airconditioner uses water coolent to stop over heating, but refrain from putting it close to water, for obvious reasons.

dont do the towl fix u will fuck it up so bad the othing will fix it

the towl fix overheats your motherboard and melts the leads to everything it will turn ur xbox into trash if ur doing the sponges u might want to do the x clamp mod it is highly recommended my me i have done the mods 2 fix the 360 and that should solve all your problems

the x clamp mod is very easy and all u need is the kit and Arctic cool past or regular thermal past it is very cheep and u dont need much

it meens u have a problem with the hard drive or the power supply unit if its the hard drive take it out turn the xbox on and it works turn it of and put the hdd in and if the light come on again u need a new hdd if none of that work u need to get a new power supply brick

satan 3 red lights is the long-term of overheating and 2 red lights means its just overHEATED...and ye half a meter is close enough if its open lol or even a fan will do the job of preventing it from overheating.
