the message at the very beginning "Loaded tetrisattack.004" reveals SNES9X was used.

That's my emu of choice (although the SNES itself is the only thing that replays SPC sounds right, but then again I'm using a 5-year-old computer).

No. It's starts from the moment the player can actually interact with the blocks and it ends with the mission completion; in this case, the termination of Bowser.

You're good. I've done that many times without noticing he's about to die and it's like, "WHAT happened?? I attacked him that much already??" I once cleared like 18 and it killed him, but also with combos to keep the stack stopped.

Yeah all it takes is a clean 5 Chain to whipe him out on Stage Clear Mode I like that mode, sometimes I like to taunt bowser with 2 chains and little combos and watch him gradually turn red.
