Making an RnB Track On Beat Thang Virtual

Hey Saint Jo... .Was Gud!! Mann You know how the Pitch shift n blend is handled .It jus keeps pitching all tracks.I know the keyspan can do it. This would help in the final export of the wav.. Thanks!!

@anttbayy not sure what you mean by pitch shift and bend, is this an option in the software? I haven't messed with it much in a while so I'm not sure.

@SoundsAndGear Kang boom used it once in a video, but theres too many to go through each one....In the systems tabs. the pitch info controls the pitch slider.Unfornatally I cant manipulate the features for each track or pad.

@anttbayy yeah in the system settings you control how much the pitch bend effects the engine, but it's not a track by track setting.

when i try 2 sample off of youtube i hit sample,new,record and play then go to youtube hit play and it will not pick up audio in beat thang so it will not record or sample can any 1 help please thanks

Just brought B.T.V. from sam ash last night I installed it but still waiting for a access code via email. Plus didn't get a usb . I'm curious as to how you learned the program, cause I only got a sheet to install the program

@SeymoreBeats usb versions where only in the very first ones, you can learn different things on their site, I just messed around with it when I first got it.

@TruYoungWorld I guess if you want to record your voice into it you can, it's not a DAW it's not made to record vocal tracks, it's a beat machine. If you're just trying to add small vocal snippets to a beat then go for it, if you're trying to record a song then no this is not what you want.

from what ive seen and heard the stock sound it has is on point im new to the beat making world and lookin to improve my sound library got any nice place to get some nice sound fonts

the drums are pretty dope, the instruments are cool but could use some tweaking. The small guitar riffs and such are pretty good.

yo, this track sounds good but i got FL 9 and Reason 4.

it doesn't really seem to stack up....

reason and flstudio are full DAW applicatons.

This is just a beat machine, they aren't meant to be the same in my opinion. Fl and Reason have way more to offer and can be your complete studio.

So in that respect, I would say you are right, but then again, it's just another tool, once they add vst support you can use it in flstudio lol.

how'd u get the midi board to work on there?

just set it as the midi input. Depending on your board you may need to change the midi root note.

Their software covers all 88 keys of a piano, some midi keyboards don't start down that far.

hmmmm still trying to figure out if i should get this or not. a couple producers i respect are telling me its worth it just for the sounds alone. Probably going to wait for the vst version so I can rewire it into pro tools as most my business lately has been adding digital drums over existing mixes

but I might have to check this out when rewiring is an option.

Saint Joe being a student I can get Ableton live 8 for 329.00 thats not the suite so I know it won't have all the instruments or 499.00 for the suite thats alot of cash for some software so I'm thinking maybe 329.00 now I also can get NI's Maschine for 447.00 so in this case which would you get and I know resalevalue on hareware is better than software

man lol, that's tuff. If you really want to use vsts then go for ableton, no question. That's the only thing it has over maschine. I love the workflow and hands on aspect of maschine much better.

thanks for watchin...yo they are all different, ableton live is a full daw in which you can use plugins and do other things, maschine and beat thang are beat maschines or production stations.

maschine can be loaded as a plugin and beat thang is getting that capability soon.

maschine gives you instant hands on out the box, ableton is wide open to expansion, and beat thang is quick and easy to get going with plus it has nice sounds.

it's really hard to choose because they are different
