hi um when get to the gaussian blur part on the first warp it doesnt blur me out when the guassian blur settings pop up....

why does it do that?

this is my second time doing this and the first time it worked on my other video

Are you masked out? Make sure that the background is black when you turn off the visibility to the layer underneath and it should work. Let me know if you still need help. :)

ok so,

1st i mask and my backround goes all black, after that i X out &try to apply the gaussian blur but when the settings pop up it still wont blur me out...

idk , i think some thing is wrong...

save the video u did to your desktop and then open up movie maker then click upload videos and click the one u did from Vegas and u can edit it if u want. then click save as to desektop and its a movie

Question, what did you click you after the masking cause im not sure what you did and my background won't turn black

Yup, the background should go black when you complete the mask. If it didn't work, try doing it again. Sometimes it can get messed up. Just make sure you go ALL the way around with the mask.

how do you make the event and crop thing pop up?

There is a small green square box at the right of each video clip. click that. If you can't see it, just zoom in =D  Event Pan Crop will pop up.

Yeah, just make sure that when you make the mask that you have a video track underneath the masked track so you still have a background.

Sounds like your at the point were you need to set key frames. Make sure it's Gaussian Blur and put the vertical speed to zero. Set key frames for the horizontal blur.

Once you make the mask, apply the Gaussian blur to that clip and make sure it's only a few frames long.
