  • This n more like it played on radios, in hangouts, juke joints, bars, parties, it was, n is cool.

  • Well, I feel my bones shaking and twisting...hell, pure magic!!!!

  • Lets give a halla to his brothers Robert. Arthur, And David....

  • Nobody got nothing on this record.

So many have imitated the dance steps (James & Booby Purifoy -shake a tail feather,

Les Smurfs -If I had a Hammer), the beat (Jr Walker) even the look, but nobody

    comes close.

R&B at it's early Best, raw & uncut, but smooth & disciplined.

I love these (real) brothers, and I betcha' Ali did too!

  • @mrjoshjones1 Right on!! Well said.

  • Booker T. on B-3

  • ALVIN DIED IN `1999 R.I.P.

  • @OldGoldSoul Thanks for that info...didn't know. This song was out when I was in grade school, everyone was jammin back then!! Classic!

  • #1 SOULFUL instrumental record, way, way, before it's time.

Inspired the great Jr Walker with emphasis on the beat,

    rather than singing.

Choreography by the two younger brothers is straight-up dope.

Alvin was a huge Ali fan, later penning a composition with Ali in mind.

Can't get enough of this record!!

  • ....and still is...

  • A BEAUTY
