I understand what you are saying, At the time she wasn't able to get perfect height because she was so small. I am sure that we could have made her wait to do it until it was perfect but there was no stopping her! She is 8 years old now and has gorgeous tumbling. As a gymnastic coach I would not allow 1) a 5 year old on the floor doing any old thing and 2) no flips not only for her safety but for the technique. When it comes time to do a twisting full she's going to need a lot more height and it's very hard to "UN-teach" what has worked in the past for a child.
