I think this reminds people of 2NE1 because there aren't many k-pop-girl-groups who does this cooler style (in my opinion). Too many of the girl groups are just like pretty and cute and have weak attitude, and their fashion is very stereotypical girly. This group however has got more attitude and seem really cool, and their fashion is also not all baby-girl-ish. However, they are also very different from 2NE1, so I don't think they should be compared. 2NE1 are on another level. JQT fighting!

To all the people here that are new to them. 3 of the member of JQT are have older artist experience than the other groups today like Suju, SNSD or Wonder Girls. They are the former member if i-13, a 13 member girl group who debut earlier than Suju. So don't think that they are new group, they debut in 2009.

They debuted in 2009 with Secret, T-ara, 4minute, 2NE1, After School, etc. They're signed to Akon's record label for their debut, and they're working with Melvin Brown, who's done a lot of stuff for Lady Gaga. (Melvin liked them so he approached them about debuting in the US.) And apparently either Nicki Minaj, Akon, Rhianna, T-Pain, or Qwes Cross is supposed to be featured in their song. They didn't say who, lol.

Like I just hate how they they're making their voices autotuned when they have good voices that don't need it. It's just uneeded. It's like they're trying to make them look like they aren't so good and need the autotune and I don't like it. Maybe it's just to have that certain electronic effect.

@ellebellgn I agree, but look at B.E.P, they're are HUGE and most of their recent songs have been HUGE and completely auto-tuned. I think we should wait and hear 2NE1/JQT's albums as I doubt they'll be full of autotune. All the stars use autotune now, so it's not a disgrace really.

I hope JQT choose the right debut song and also I hope Will.I.Am has done a good job with 2NE1 and they succeed too.

I think JQT will do better than any K Pop group so far with KONVICT, but 2NE1 should be HUGE!

Their new stuff moved away from autotune, but To Anyone was filled with autotune. 2NE1 gets to stay true to their sound, but it sucks that JQT has to sacrifice their style to make it. Konvict is just trying to make JQT accessible to US audiences, and right now the electro/club style is hot. I'd rather JQT change their style than be unsuccessful. I'd feel bad if they flopped, since they're not too popular in Korea either.
