Both are probably just using old body types so that the toy manufacturers can have more toys to sell with no additional molds to make

They might as well call it Crovans Gate Steamworks and call it a day. Its no coincidence that the main works was situated near the Skarloey Railway, and there is a Narrow Gauge engine working there. I am looking forward to seeing the new set of Permanent destinations to which the shows is situated in. Season 16 could see the Crovans Gate Station and Victor meeting the Skarloey railway. I actually thought that the Town Square had some resemblance to Vicarstown Station only with a town beside it.

Belle is a riddles 4MT locomotive, somewhat modified to tackle fires for some odd reason. despite the hoses/sentry turrets, she seems quite distingtive, if it wasnt for the headlamps and different livery, you'd mistake her for a foreign engine. Remember this thomas fans, dont draw your reviews, until you've seen the actual thing, hence saving the point of contradicting yourselves

Pity, it looks like something more Season 5 style, but it's most likely hyped and made over-dramatic here. That faceshot of D10 seemed Classic Thomas, and it's most likely the closest to the Classic Thomas style the writers will be allowed.
@super58173 Not really. The Steamworks is at Crovan's Gate (see the RWS map in Misty Island Rescue) and the Dieselworks is at Vicarstown (that's what it says on the logo, which is on Hornby Dart). Add to the fact that Gordon, James and Edward's tenders are longer than the model series (like they are in the RWS) and you can see quite a few RWS elements in the CGI series.
And even if it does have some minor RWS cameos, if it's not realistic, then what's the point? The writers may know Thomas well, but are still at HiT's idiot command.

Belle is a riddles 4MT locomotive, somewhat modified to tackle fires for some odd reason. despite the hoses/sentry turrets, she seems quite distingtive, if it wasnt for the headlamps and different livery, you'd mistake her for a foreign engine. Remember this thomas fans, dont draw your reviews, until you've seen the actual thing, hence saving the point of contradicting yourselves

@SodorProductions- thank you! Since when does Dennis have a monobrow? And, yeah, Henry and Percy are both green with red stripes, but they're not best friends. In fact, those two as a pair together never really has been used. I doubt they get on after Trouble in the Shed.

Pity, it looks like something more Season 5 style, but it's most likely hyped and made over-dramatic here. That faceshot of D10 seemed Classic Thomas, and it's most likely the closest to the Classic Thomas style the writers will be allowed.

@super58173 Not really. The Steamworks is at Crovan's Gate (see the RWS map in Misty Island Rescue) and the Dieselworks is at Vicarstown (that's what it says on the logo, which is on Hornby Dart). Add to the fact that Gordon, James and Edward's tenders are longer than the model series (like they are in the RWS) and you can see quite a few RWS elements in the CGI series.

And even if it does have some minor RWS cameos, if it's not realistic, then what's the point? The writers may know Thomas well, but are still at HiT's idiot command.

@ThomasPercyandToby2 - Stop bitching. I'm not asking for Thomas to an adult's show, I WANT better writing, but I'm not fighting for it. Thomas is for kids, but it's almost insulting how kids are assumed to like redundancy. It's aimed at the PARENTs who enjoy this, since they want their kid's role models to be the tube characters.
HiT is a business, and it's main drive is money, stop confusing HiT with the writers.
It's just like Disney, Vicom, and the rest. HiT did not create Thomas.

@super58173 OK, if you wanna be specific, Thomas is for families. But kids are the ones who get the most enjoyment out of it, an if that's the case, I see no problem, only with a lot of "fans" who would rather watch Thomas and moan about it than do the INTELLIGENT thing and watch something else.
And yes, HIT didn't make Thomas, but they're carrying on Thomas' legacy (of course, you'll disagree), and as long as it is being made, I'll be happy.

I'm talking about the well-paid carefree businessmen. They represent HiT, and every comapany has that dark side, "what will make a child buy this?" That's who I'm talking about, when I have the HiT logo explode in a YTP. I watch the CGI episodes, neutrally, the background is great.
Thomas suffers from being a media giant, but I remain near him.

Well, the part with the diesels looks kinda stupid (I was hoping D10 would be more of a legit villain than just a dick), but the idea of setting Thomas on fire . . . THAT's exciting! Also, Flynn doesn't look very engine-ish to me.

oh no... even worse than that other film hit made (well almost)... poor thomas :( and poor vicarstown shed, it's been moved to a dusty crater and had a massive corrigated iron extension. (i dont think it is actually vicarstown shed, the architecture is wrong, although they have included the pond, i can see what that's going to lead to... thomas and emily (included for political correctness) go scuba diving and discover a whole group of underwater trains (more toys 4 hit) :( ) Poor thomas... :(
