its not necessary to remove the ovary if you have ovarian cyst and
you have two ovary if you remove just one ovary you can still to ovulate and to be pregnant and still have menstrual cycle as any female no more no less but in normal situation every month you have ovulation from one ovary and in next month ovulation from another ovary but when you remove one ovary you will have chance to ovulate and menestruate and chance to be pregnant moth after month not every month
