I grew up with Pokemon, Spyro and Crash. While I enjoyed all the new Pokemon games (main series), I was disappointed with the new Spyro and Crash games. Not saying that they're bad-I thoroughly enjoyed Crash of the Titans, and the Legend of Spyro games had their charm. But Mind Over Mutant is unchallenging and has the most disappointing final boss I've ever encountered. Not to mention the idiotic cutscenes.
I used to be a hater of the new games...but i'm totally fine with them now. They are fine, but I just HATE how stupid and pathetic cortex is now.......... -_-
I personally respect the changes Radical made to Crash. It was the first company who had guts to take the risk to do something new. If a company buys a popular video game franchise they really need to feel that they own it, that they can do anything they want to it. Sadly though this game didn't had really good sales and that is the reason why we wont see Crash again.
@Frogzar I agree. The changes were something new, fresh and cool. And they should be able to feel like they own the franchise. And it's not like Radical and Sierra tried to milk it for money. People who contacted Radical know they tried to do justice to the series. Thanks to the merger with Activision, for some reason, bad deadlines were placed for this and Spyro Dawn of the Dragon (sibling series). A LOT of content was scrapped because of this and low budgets. Like 40-50% of game content. :(

New has better gameplay and gameplay concepts, but not enough money and time to make develop them fully. Actually 4 (The Wrath of Cortex) and Twinsanity are made by Traveller's Tales (TT Games). The reason why Crash is ruined is because Vivendi let Sierra Entertainment/ Radical Entertainment make Crash of the Titans. Then Activision (when Vivendi and Activision merged into Activision Blizzard) continueed letting them make the series which lead to this game.
What is wrong with people? Crash is not over. The old Crash was good, but it's been over 10 years. Things change, how'd you expect them to change? Like Mario? He hasn't changed much. rash has more potential than that and this game is just a good step on the way to fulfilling his potential. Crash isn't over. The 90s were. I you want to stay there, fine, but that doesn't mean time and progress will stop so you can relive your childhood memories over and over. Times change and we should move on.

Naughty Dog made the best crash games, and if you played them from the start, you'll agree. Younger players will have grown up with the newer ones and I see that, but a true Crash fan would prefer Naughty Dog games. I personally think that Twinsanity was the last Crash game I'd describe as good.

True. Boom Bang was really bad, and i have never played it. But it looks bad enough. Easy?! I found him medium-hard, but he was still easier than the previous boss. The bosses were really hard for me and the way you drive is pure hell! Do you know how hard it is to get first place when you slow down when the kart uses those gravity... things that replace the wheels at the bottom of the kart.

Bigalex, there's more: Crash in Warped could use a bazooka and upgraded some other powers. The new Crash has other ways to jump: Backflip jump, Spin Jump and the normal double jump. If you count all the moves Crash has with the Titans, he has (give or take) 60 attacks. That's a lot of moves and i think that's better than just jumping over holes and spinning enemies...
I agree with you totally. The first one was mind blowing. I played it everyday for a year, and now I still play it every two or three months. It has SO MUCH replay value.

I agree, and the characters barely had a personality. Look at N-Gin, he was a zombie (admittedly, a cool zombie), but the new N-Gin is hilarious and has more of a personality (even if it's an insane one) than the old N-Gin ever did.

Just because his games are a little sillier than before and his gameplay'd different, doesn't mean he died. He's just older. Not like they made him into a Sonic The Hedgehog copy (not tha Sonic's bad. It's just that Sonic is Sonic and Crash is Crash).

How does he look like a fag? In the cartoon? No, the gameplay and 3-D cutscenes? Not at all. All that's different is a slightly different bone structure, tattoos and a mohawk. Besides that, the only thing different no gloves and he looks furrier.

Naughty Dog made the best crash games, and if you played them from the start, you'll agree. Younger players will have grown up with the newer ones and I see that, but a true Crash fan would prefer Naughty Dog games. I personally think that Twinsanity was the last Crash game I'd describe as good.

Listen man: I grew up with Crash and my first game ever was Crash 1 and i prefer the new games. I respect your opinion, but i'm just saying that a true Crash fan would like ALL Crash games and be biased to the old games just because of nostalgia and not wanting to have any changes. Things have to change. Sonic did it and he's still awesome just to mention a few. I like almost every Crash game except Nitro Kart and Boom Bang, but i like the old, love the new, and just love Crash as a whole.

True. Boom Bang was really bad, and i have never played it. But it looks bad enough. Easy?! I found him medium-hard, but he was still easier than the previous boss. The bosses were really hard for me and the way you drive is pure hell! Do you know how hard it is to get first place when you slow down when the kart uses those gravity... things that replace the wheels at the bottom of the kart.

dude theres more stuff on crash. crash 1 jump crawl slide and spin. new crash jump spin fight jak mutants use aku as protection not just 1 time skate with aku and kick. original 4. new 7. now isint that much better or f....... never mind

Bigalex, there's more: Crash in Warped could use a bazooka and upgraded some other powers. The new Crash has other ways to jump: Backflip jump, Spin Jump and the normal double jump. If you count all the moves Crash has with the Titans, he has (give or take) 60 attacks. That's a lot of moves and i think that's better than just jumping over holes and spinning enemies...

I agree, and the characters barely had a personality. Look at N-Gin, he was a zombie (admittedly, a cool zombie), but the new N-Gin is hilarious and has more of a personality (even if it's an insane one) than the old N-Gin ever did.
