What? No one's leaving any comments? Michael Flatley was certainly quite talented, but alas, no one can stop the ravages of time. He reached his zenith with Riverdance and tried to fly too close to the sun and his wings melted with the heat. For all his talent, energy and ego to match, he returned to the fountain only to find it had dried in the passage of age, infirmity and loss of relevance in a craft he pplayed so great a role in establishing. He will be sorely missed.
I love these clips.Perfect syncronization in all the clips of what we see & hear.Man the old Michael was already perfect.He didn't need to reinvent himself but I'm sure he was happy going to the next level.
I have in front of me, the sountrack for Riverdance, there is no mention of the tune " cry of the celts". The opening tune is "Reel Around the Sun". I admit that in " Lord of the Dance" thereis a tune called Cry of the celts. It is also the title of a different show, you will find clips on You Tube

I haven't watched the whole tape since I was like, 5 years old! I remember the dude when he was dancing with the lady in red. He winked at the camera! Wow, that was oh so random! ^_^
This was put together in an amazing way.I loved it.I don't care how beefed up and Rambo-like Michael gets.I loved the sexy guy from the original Riverdance the most.Thnaks
