That was fantastic! Some of those heights looked ridiculously high! I like jumping off cliff etc, but can get pretty scared! This highest I've done is 7 meters which is probably nothing compared with you guys. Dulsie Bridge seems to be quite popular, Hopefully getting go there river kayaking in a few weeks. would love to jump off the bridge too :]
The portknockie jumps bring back memories. Must be over 20 years since I last jumped any of them. Take my own kids back their now but they are still a bit young yet for outside the harbour. My son wants to do the runny light next time we are up. That will probably be his limit just now.
I'd love to go on a tombstoning road trip! All the haters are just fat old men who wish they still could do this sort of stuff. I've jumped off cliffs and bridges and im still alive. Why? Because I enjoy living and always check the depth and for rocks etc. Just a few dumbass kids who jump 500ft onto concrete get the bad press.
On this 'morning' there was a poor unfortunate chap on the show that had paralised himself as a result of jumping off a pier. He hadn't checked the depth of the water so...Awful as it is to say. It was his own fault really. All the show did was demonise the sport and tell the folks at home NOT TO DO IT etc. Do they not see that it is pointless in telling folks to stop doing things that look like great fun? There is a risk of death or injury in EVERTHING WE DO.

Just been doing this yesterday at Stainforth near Settle, North Yorkshire. No problems to report however I wasn't jumping anything like the heights featured in this video. One thing that has happend to me is my ears. They ache like f***! Is this a common problem when tombstoning? Would wearing ear plugs help stop this? I was doing it for the best part of NINE hours.
nice one lads i`d maybe do some of them but not all of them lol!
As for the bad media every sport gets bad media atleast you were checking depths and waring buoyancy aids you took a sensible approach and you all walked away with nothing more than a decent adrenaline kick
alrite boys i was in the 2nd gravity chasers. im the 1 with the red cag and silver sweet helmet. good job on the vid. remember we are all qualified canyon guides who take comercial trips in scotland, a few of the boys have done it abroad, maybe something you might be interested in? hope you boys took all the right safety measures as we did. as this buisness with the sun could come back and bite us in the arse!
any way hope ur lookin forward to gravity chasers 3.
We jump (used to jump) here in the U.S. from higher than that all the time, of course that was back when we were free. Now we're taking on the socialist ideals of Europe & they are closing access to a lot of our jumping spots.
Hopefully youz realise this is fucking stupid...oh wait a minute...wan of you wee arseholes will need to die before that happens...well whos gonna die first then??
my mate jamie told me about this video, the one "inspired by gravity chasers" last week. tells me today that its being slammed in the Sun for being reckless! well our local spot is dulsie bridge, we were there for a good 2-3 hours the other nite, jumping, spinning and flipping off just about every possible jump there, not a single injury or close call! this is a great vid, and when precautions are taken, cliff jumping is a great extreme sport! Mon Scottish Cliff Jumping! check out our vids! NRJ
just watched all your vids, absolutely class. your blading is well good too. were all those parks in scotland cos i might get out the old xsjados and skate next time im in scotland.
yeah all the parks/street spots would be in scotland, as are all the locations we go gorge walking and cliff jumping! if you are ever heading up for another tour, you need to give us all a heads-up! =D
cheers, the songs don't really have names because i composed them on fruity loops. thought id put my own stuff in the vid to try avoid UMG removing the audio from the video.
loving your piano cover of coldplay, post some more. =D
We used to go to Portknockie for the summer with my folks when I was younger. Wet suits? we used to do that shit in cut off jeans. I saw the "rock of doom" in there but what about "15p a fall" ? it was off the harbour wall into that same wee inlet, much more rocks to clear. My big bro was one of the first people to jump the "green castle", split his cut offs from button to belt loops at the back. Peace to old school Portknockie "dookers". PigBag.
I jumped some old lady in the street today. Thankyou for encouraging me.

It's really only dangerous if it's -
A: over 90ft high
B: water under 20ft deep
C: you don't hit straight
D: you don't wear shoes
E: you don't clamp your butt & legs tight
F: you don't wear a protective cup
G: you don't check the water for obstacles first
