@basicbill1 I've shot out the right window with the tripod on the passenger seat (see "Chasing a UP Passenger Special at 70mph), but this doesn't work trying to shoot out the driver's side. Luckily, since I have no center console, I got the tripod in a position that it was fairly steady right in the middle.
@theup3985 Well as long as they get the right paint, it should last a long time! It's some of those original Superfleet GEs that faded so badly because GE messed up on the paint.
That is cool! I enjoyed it. Thanks for the post. Great idea about the tripod between the seats, lots safer. I enjoy railfanning the BNSF line more than the UP line since I enjoy the color schemes more on that line. Great job.

Great pacing video! Those warbonnets are looking great given their age, looks like this just as easily could have been taken in the year 2000.
