Fye (or Fay but mostly Fai) always knew Chii was sakura's feather. After the first meeting with the rest of the Tsubasa gang and the first feather, Fye probably already knew Chii belonged to Sakura. Fye created Chii from sakura's feather in the image of his mother to comfort his brother. Its all in the manga. it may take a few read throughs to get it but its worth thumbing through again.

can somebody please tell me which ova is the one in wich Kuro kills the king and Fye discovers that Chii is only a sakura's feather? I already saw shunraiki but i dont remember that part.
