Question Chase,

How do you enter the Photography business when you are new and do not have a Portfolio? What I did was travel to Mumbai during the festive season and shot a bunch of photographs. BUT, my main Gear was stolen by a gang of guys who were apparently keeping track on my movements for some time.

How do I enter the market as a professional photographer with no or small portfolio?

My gear: Nikon D700 + Nikon D7000 + 2 SB 900 and 2 SB 700, lenses most of 2.8 glass and few more etc.

Man.. I learned MUCH more in just 30 mins into the video than I did in perhaps 3 years - not that I didn't know - but it was like "assisting a photographer" rather than "learning in class"!! Definitely buying the book and trying it out !!
