Right, I used to play without offsides at first but after playin a bit with them it didn't take long for me to get used to it. I wouldn't want to be at a disadvantage against a friend in a local match, nor someone online by playing with something I'm not used to (with offsides on if I weren't used to it).

The only time it still bothers me is when I'm dancing around the blue line trying to work a shot from the point and I accidentally nick the line (well past the line but yeah)

yeah I hear ya but I dont get caught on offsides online all that often anyways so... i just find it gets in the way like you said when you like to deke players at the blue line

i know superstar is impossible. I keep losing every face off yet somehow i only lost 2-1. it's impossible to score though. I only scored cuz the comp tripped me on the breakway and i only miss penelty shots like 10% of the time

yup.. gotta play pretty tight defensively and dont give them the slot they score almost everytime.. even the glitches are hard to do i find.. but i don't like to play with them i like my hockey games to look real..

yeah same here. That's y i barley play online. I hate how ALMOST EVERY1 uses glitch goals. I only play online if one of my friends from school is on. I hear nhl 10 though made 200 goalie and defensive ai adjustments

yeah i no? Don't u just hate quiting early on that? Now there's hackers who can make it that after 2 min in the 1st they 60 points. When i first started playing (in december) almost no 1 would use glitch goals and i luvd nhl 09 cuz i almost won every game. Then somewhere around march or april ALMOST EVERY1 used glitch goals and about 1/4 the ppl i play are hackers. I'm going to buy nhl 11 cuz i have feeling they'll find a couple glitch goals they missed and then they'll fix it.

how do you record a game like that?

well.. This was a full game i had recorded so i just took the goal out of the video clip but I use a Dazzle Video Recorder and I use RCA Y adapters that hook up the video to the recorder and record it on my computer using pinnacle studios 10. If you search Dazzle Video Recorder online it gives you all you need.. I paid roughly $100 for it. well worth it
