  • My parents bought an Ekco in 57 and kept it going for 20 years because they were waiting for colour to improve.

  • That's an impressive collection - thanks for posting!

    I doub't there would be many homes viewing 405 line TV in the late seventies.  Most of the UK had access to BBC1 & ITV on UHF by 1970-71. By 1976 the take up of 'colour' had passed 50 percent.
