have any of you ever been shot with one of those? i stripped the skin down to the meat and had to get stitches because i accidentally put my finger near the end of the pressure washer while it was running. search you tube for the power of a pressure washer. If i can sit and scrub a wall for hours and not get any grime off but i can take a washer and blow it all off in seconds..... the pressure must be pretty intense. i mean it did tear off the skin to my finger. i'd call it child abuse.
@Chandler312 This is not a high powered pressure washer. This is a car wash hose, which comes out in a fan pattern. If you took a high powered pressure washer to your car, it would chew your paint off. If you used a high powered pressure washer on someone, yes I'd agree that would be torture - this however is not the case here.

@Chandler312 The pressure on car wash hoses are not the same as ones you would use in commercial pressure washing - fact. I have one that I use to clean sidewalks and to knock paint off brick and wood siding and I wouldn't dare point that thing at my car. Rewatch the video and note the fan nozzle on the hose - you don't use that nozzle on commercial pressure washing - it spreads the pressure and renders it less powerful.
@1775novten ok. let me shoot you with a car wash hose. if you do have a pressure washer than you do know that they come with different fittings such as this fan spray you talk about as well as a direct spray and a few others. but regardless of the argument of if it can tear off skin or not, any pressure washer, for commercial, or car washing, can, and will, cause injury if not used properly (spraying your kids)-fact. I have seen my skin torn open by a car pressure washer first hand.

When parents start smacking the kids, they're usually doing it out of anger and frustration. When the kid is throwing a tantrum, it's usually for one of these reasons:
1. The kid is hungry and hasn't eaten in several hours.
2. He/she is tired and should've been taken home earlier. Kids get cranky when they're tired.

High pressure is high pressure-and as an adult I know it hurts when it is that close and a child of that age has skin that is much easier to penetrate- It qualifies in my book-I have scars-is it really necessary for adults with half a mind to understand not all abuse leaves physical scars? Discipline is important but reason not out of control-enough adults kill other adults too readily-and a child this small can be easily damaged-

have any of you ever been shot with one of those? i stripped the skin down to the meat and had to get stitches because i accidentally put my finger near the end of the pressure washer while it was running. search you tube for the power of a pressure washer. If i can sit and scrub a wall for hours and not get any grime off but i can take a washer and blow it all off in seconds..... the pressure must be pretty intense. i mean it did tear off the skin to my finger. i'd call it child abuse.

If you took a high powered pressure washer to your car, it would chew your paint off. If you used a high powered pressure washer on someone, yes I'd agree that would be torture - this however is not the case here.

@Chandler312 The pressure on car wash hoses are not the same as ones you would use in commercial pressure washing - fact. I have one that I use to clean sidewalks and to knock paint off brick and wood siding and I wouldn't dare point that thing at my car. Rewatch the video and note the fan nozzle on the hose - you don't use that nozzle on commercial pressure washing - it spreads the pressure and renders it less powerful.

@1775novten ok. let me shoot you with a car wash hose. if you do have a pressure washer than you do know that they come with different fittings such as this fan spray you talk about as well as a direct spray and a few others. but regardless of the argument of if it can tear off skin or not, any pressure washer, for commercial, or car washing, can, and will, cause injury if not used properly (spraying your kids)-fact. I have seen my skin torn open by a car pressure washer first hand.

Because, if the child does that it will keep on trying to get attention. My sister used to cry instead all the time for the littlest things. @DaAwesumProduction It's impossible to ignore a little shit when they're SCREAMING their head off at you for nearly half an hour. I know, I've seen it. I'm glad I don't have kids, because the amount of energy these little snots have to throw fits of epic proportions in grocery stores, restaurants, at home, etc. is enough to make me want to strangle the little fucks. @Nightweaver1 The job of the parent in such a situation is to calm their child down and tell them that everything is okay. Screaming at them or maybe even hitting them is completely wrong, 'cause that only causes the child to be confused. See, most of such reactions you described are based on fear. Children in young ages don't like places with too much noise and too many people and therefore show their parents in their own way that they're scared, nothing more. Your methods are completely wrong.

In no way are all childrens tantrums are caused by fear. I have many memories of tantrums as a child and my thought process was pretty much always along the line of:
"How can mum do this to me, doesn't see she I want to eat some sweets?? Why won't she give me some sweets, how dare she deny me the sweets... well I'll show her, look mum, see how unhappy you've made me, not loud enough for you eh, well let me cry louder, let me scream, ow my throat hurts, see what she does to me!"

I know its not my child but its my opinion..thats what the comments are for..OPINIONS.Did you feel what she went through? It wasnt a reg.h20 hose .
