@Cahoula Hey! Cahoula. Do you think someone should have given Exxon or BP a ticket for littering swathes of oceans? What about Firestone Tires for making calculated decisions to kill people? I am sure that the 99%ers in the park have caused a lot less garbage and trash in the world than the corporations and the 1%. I do want to see the NYPD hand out tickets...hand them right to Lech Walesa who is coming to visit soon, and the Chairman of the Working Families who did an action alert for OWS.
@iwilder Exxon and BP did pay up. Lots of scams with the excess cash. Firestone making decisions to kill people - man that would be a field day for the lawyers. The tickets will start tomorrow. And the NYPD would like to thank the O.W.S. protesters for all the double overtime pay. The cops are the ones getting rich on this stunt.
@Cahoula Because of the scam of the government, media, and corporations being intertwined, no one even knew how much BP should pay. There were definite stories of them not letting media and environmentalists in to see things. You are very foolish to think that Exxon and BP paid their fair share. Yeah, Firestone and other companies make calculated decisions about risk vs. profit, and it is an ethical choice similar to murder. It is great if the police get a little overtime. Let the banks pay it.
@iwilder We don't agree on Exxon, BP, or Firestone. Fair enough. But I am sadden that you find it acceptable that the police get the double overtime. This is what I have suspected about leftest for a long time. Leftists actually WANT a police state. You want the banks to pay for a little extra protection? Well, even more police will be hired, regardless who pays for a police state. I don't want the govt or the banks feeling free to have a bigger police force. Too much spending man.
@meltdown53 When you create the perfect message, and support it with creative art and ideas, then the whole world showers blessings on you. I hate going into NYC. But, I dragged in with with yoga mats and comfort supplies that I saw were in need. I saw an opinion poll that said over 35% of people know and support Occupy Wall Street. So, I guess that is where they get their supplies. From the 99% who have been given new hope!
Funny how all the media has is to say that were being dirty to get peoples focus off Occupy Wall Street.....LOL
This is how you know that the 1% is getting scared and resorting to anything that they can to distract the millions of focused minds off of this history in the making!!
To understand the happenings of today we must study the past. This study begins with Rothschild. After taking control England's central bank they are quoted with saying it matters not who makes the laws as long as I control the money supply. You'll encounter Smedley Butler, Andrew Jackson, Lincoln and Russian czar Alexander, Bolshevik revolution, Garfield, Wilson, and you'll encounter Warburg, Rockefeller, eugenics, Nazi's,. Bush, De Beers, Morgan, + other well known names
Oh really just wait until May or June
