@shaunandtara12 the gas trucks did pull the diesels the first year,i was there and seen it,it was the year after they wouldnt let gas go against diesels...prob cause liberator was crying it wasnt fair,but anyways carlisle tug of wars are very lamecompared to the the ones down south....check out yankee lake truck and youll see a real tug of war...and once again youll see that same lime green dodge with a 318 gas motor dragging the diesels like hondas...he even pulls 2 trucks at the same time..ol

I went to the 2009 all truck nationals and tghe same guy won with a dodge ram and a cummons engine every round. Except there was a cxt but that got disqualified because it started too soon.

yo let me tell you all somthing my dad drives trucks for a living and he got stuck the one day and called me up and was like i just got stuck in the mud want to make some money and i was like where you at and he told me i was like i'll be right there. when i got there he was deep and so i got my chaines and pulled his ass out with a 95 chevy siverodo 350 small block 5.7 k1500 i was only in reverse. now its a 4x4 but only used 2 wheel drive

@mooose09 hookin chains between these two truck wasnt evenly matched to begin with. Yes the Mack weighs more, but most of the weight is on the front end not over the drive tires where it actually matters. Id say Mr. Liberator should hook chains with another pickup to try to prove his point.

Ok, first of all, the weight of the trucks is no where near the same. If you were to throw some weight in the bed of that Ford, I bet it would be alot different outcome.

Second, it was fair when the Ford was in 4wd due to the fact that the mack has 4 big wide tires turning out back vs. the Ford's skinnier 2.

Third, when the weights are proportionally different as they are here, it doesn't matter if it's a Ford, Dodge or Chevy.

Semi Trucks are not really good in a tug of war. I bet any larger Pickup can easily pull a single rear axle semi.
