why do the americans have a different course to everyone else? do they want to be different, or do they simply need an easier course than everyone else?
@implications24 It's because the Americans are the ones that started the show, which explains why the American version wasn't filmed in Argentina. And currently, the Argentinians are far behind from the Americans, course-wise.
@tennant1971 Hi. I was on the UK version of Total Wipeout. All countries are filmed on the same course in Argentina, except for the USA who have their own course. None of them are easier though! Haha :-)
I clicked the link assuming it was supposed to be a comedy version but...well, there's nothing in the video that I can understand as even being an attempted joke.
Wipeout is essentially a less crude, more conventional, family oriented version of the similar and more entertaining asian obstacle course show Takashi's Castle.
@smileycount the original isn't called total wipeout you idiot, it's only other countries that calls it total wipeout, usa version (the original) is just wipeout
i'm preatty sure the red balls are closer toghether then they are on the uk version? is it the same course or am i right in thinking this looks easyer!?
@tennant1971 its because they dont have the interlectual power to complete it. or to think up there own corse so they just nick ours. in fact they probably dont even know what interlectual means their so thick
@Jonnyx2376 I counted twelve spelling/grammar mistakes in your comment. Perhaps you should write properly when accusing a whole country of being "thick".
actually, I have all the episodes of the American ones, if you watch it from North American, it does not say "Wipe out USA". It's the same for "the office". It doesn't say "The Office, an American Workplace" like it does in the UK
@kineticatom1 The US started it. On YouTube there are some episodes and it is not actually called Total Wipeout USA. It's actual name is Wipeout. @kineticatom1 yes the uk had a game show in the 90's called wipeout, but despite having the same name it had a completely different concept you idiot, so you guys didn't have the original. the us did, and it's just called wipeout, only the knockoffs are called total wipeout you idiot
