I was 6 when we had to put my dog down. He was only 4 years old, yet very sick. The smell of the vet still haunts me when I think about it. I remember crying for days. It's the only memory I've got about Benno, yet I miss him so much.

I know what you talking about actually, I had to do the same with mine which was quite old (17 years old) and he could live longer but....
