@DjMell0 As mentioned in the description this version of GTA is "clean" of any mods with the exception of iCE.

Your problem may be the fact, that you don't have the patches installed.

iCE runs at it's full potential at patch 1040 (in the description of the video there is a link to the 1040 patch gameplay), though it runs smoother on 1070 (the version at this video).

@TheAYLives i too dont have any mods installed apart from iCE, and i have patch 1070 installed... do i need to install patch 1040 then 1070? coz i just installed 1070 directly... could that be the problem?

@DjMell0 As far as I know you have to go through the patches one by one so from 1010 to 1020 and so on. That's what I did.

@DjMell0 I don't mind at all. As far as I'm informed, since the patch 1060 the rendering system of GTA4 was altered in some degree. iCE's modifications work better with the previous rendering method.

@DjMell0 1040 takes a considerably better PC to run smoothly. So I'm afraid the answer is no, it will run smoother on 1070 but will look better on 1040.

@FKnEwS We really can't support piracy, so we can't answer the first part of the question. As for cars they are separate mods which you can find on the same website we provided in the description.

In night there is too dark how can i fix it

It's a very good mod, during the day. However its not even worth playing at night for you can barley seen Niko if that. Cut seen's are even worse considering you can even see whats going on in them due to the over use of bloom. Now if you run it with ENB it's perfection, but at night still way,to dark.

@49monk I actually finished the whole game with iCE on 1070patch (so exactly like on the video above) and did not really have any problems during night time. iCE on 1040 tends to be a bit darker but still not to a point where you can't see your objectives.

As for the cut scenes it's just something I guess we have to live with for now. Their not unwatchable just terribly over-saturated.

does patch 1070 ruin it? I, too, have 1070 but the readme says "It works horribly on 1.0.6.0/1.0.7.0 PATCH"

@kosmaverick In the description of the movie you have a link to a gameplay with Patch 1040 so you can see the difference. As well 1.25 is supposed to work a bit better on 1070.

Don't misunderstand as well - either way it looks much, much better then the original GTA4.

There is as well a native 1070 version of iCE in developement.

What specs are required to run this mod? I have a mobility radeon 5870 w/ 1gb VRAM, i7 620m and 4gb of RAM (yes I am using a laptop). Is this at all optimized for ATi cards? Would it run even decently on my rig? I run the game un modded at very high settings (high shadows) and regular draw distance, and it runs pretty well (25-45 fps).

@ATLracing There are non official specs. If you can run GTA4 well on max settings then you should be able to run iCE on patch 1070, 1040 is a whole different story though.

One question , I can currently run this game with everything on High , a nice resolution and Anitroscopic x4 ( View distance , car depth and all of that on 50)

Since I readed your commentary that It'll run if you could max out GTA IV , then will I have a chance to probably run this mod with the settings im using?

@XeBiSe777 You most probably will be able to run it on patch 1070 (the video is made on that) you may have a problem on 1040 as it looks somewhat better but many thing like memory leaks are not fixed in that patch (video coming of 1040)

The modding community never ceases to amaze me. Why they haven't added a mod for updated NPC models and Niko/ secondary character models is beyond me though (If thats even possible, I wouldn't know I'm not tech savvy).

In comparison to the rest of the iCEnchancer package the character models start to look even more dull by comparison.

I've tried installing diff mods and I can't get anything close to this. I have 12gb ram, 6970 video card and i7 950. What the hell am I doing wrong, I can't figure it out?! I still get ugly boxy textures, nothing so clean as this. Also, yours says 1.3, that's not out is it?

@RandoMartin Honest mistake, it's 1.2. Also as I found out ICEnchancer does not work properly above patch 1040, this is done 1070. I'm uploading now a video with 1040.

Also a moddable xlive.dll is needed for ICE to work.

@TheSniperz09 There are no real system requirements posted for the mod. If you can run GTA4 on max details, then you should be able to run the mod.
