One one hand, its bad that it has no MMS support, but on the other hand I have never had the need to send one, nor have I ever recived one. So I think, I can manage without.

@hpdexter5 mms means multimedia messaging u can send ur pix / vdo clips and different files (limited data size) through it to another compatable handset and sms means short messaging service i.e. text msg

MMS is a text message with a photo. It is sent over the cellular network rather than the data network.

the only thing iphone has over this phone is the games and apps but thats not for me playing app games this is no cute phone this is for hardcore comms.... and you don't have to open and close apps everything is like floating on the dashboard. the only problem with this phone is the keyboard. but it's fine for me...

i think this phone is better then i phone. it has skype built in and you can use google talk. plus it has a better web browser and 5.1 megapix camera and a freakin web cam. also i think up to 42 gigs of space booooyaahhh..

Yes it does. It lists all IM and SMS conversations similarly, so that you'll see the message exchange as a conversation. As a result, all SMS and IM messages are found under a "Conversations" icon.

hi, i noticed that when you were showing the sms app that you clicked the TO indicator to go into the contacts app so that you could find a contac to send a sms to. can you not just press the dialogue box and start typing part of a contacts name nd press enter so that the matching contacts will pop up, the same way you can do in s60? i find this to be a much more efficient way to select a contact to send a sms to.

I saw on one of ur vids ,the N900 does hav word auto completion, wht abt any correction features?

like for example if I wrote " sircumstance" in the blkberry OS, then the system gonna highlight to me this was a incorrect spelling, then, if i click on the word the OS giv me correct word candidates which will be "circumstance"

wondering if N900 has similar feature?

Yes, I use IM with Skype, Google Talk, and Windows Live right now. You can add other clients too

The IM client is on the phone and then there is a small free utility you can download to initiate Windows Live connection. It uses the default, included IM client though.

I use my finger 95% of the time. The stylus has only been needed for when small menus may appear in an app or game.

I am working on this and will post some thoughts on Nokia Experts tomorrow. I am quite a heavy user and have been able to get through a full 12 hour day without killing the battery so far. It is good enough for someone like me to get through a day, but stay tuned for more details thoughts soon.
