• Catches it perfectly.

  • Yes, I guess you're right, Senator Brownback went far beyond basic courtesy and showed the most extensive courtesy toward his supporters! He had sno-cones too. And cotton candy! Fun video; I enjoyed watching it.

  • The Brownback grassroots volunteers were busy doing GOTV and finalizing logistics the day before the straw poll, as anyone with campaign experience would know ... and the air-conditioned tent was a basic courtesy toward their supporters on a day when the heat index was around 100 degrees.

  • Oh...I understand, GOTV is very important, and I'm sure all campaigns were doing the same. The comment in the video basically relates to boots-on-the-ground at the tent site, which were not volunteers. In contrast to the Paul camp which was completely set up by grassroot volunteers.

  • Brownback was the only candidate with an air-conditioned tent. To state it was a 'basic' courtesy is a bit overstating the gesture. If it was basic, other candidates would have followed suit (notably the Romney camp). Ron Paul supplied sno-cones, which went over very well! Thanks for your comment, it is appreciated.

  • for the time and money spent I think RON PAUL did very well

  • i agree 100%

Ron Paul!
  • It's clear that the other candidates pay their way through their campaigns. Only Ron Paul's campaign is a REAL people's campaign, which comes from the heart... hence the enthusiasm of Ron Paul's followers: they represent true activism. They sow the seeds of freedom and whether these seeds will sprout depends on how enlightened the masses become.

Yet the ripe time seems to be approaching.

  • Great reporting guys, this type of real info helps. To see the massive spin operation of Romney really puts things in perspective. All hired out the set up crew, the caterers, the band and the voters. All paid by global elitist dollars. Go facism.

  • I wonder how many votes Ron Paul would have gotten if he spent $2,000,000+ on buses, drivers, go-carts, or went to all 99 counties in Iowa like other candidates? Still great news for Ron Paul and Freedom.

  • Considering that Romney spent over 2M, bought 10,000 tickets and bused in thousands of voters, I'm astounded that the media consider him the winner. He and his family spent months in Iowa and attended over 200 events. I consider his meager vote tally of under 4,500 votes a clear indication that he is really the biggest loser in Iowa's straw poll

  • Do you have a source for the 10000 tickets claim? All I've been able to turn up was that Romney refused to say how many tickets he bought. Earlier in the week, Ron Paul's group said they were buying 500 tickets; they got 1305 votes.

  • Unfortunately, I "heard" that number on a newscast but don't remember which one because I listen to them all. I do know that the WSJ ran an article on Mitt quoting Iowa Republicans as expecting him to buy 10,000 tickets. An interesting fact from the Des Moines Register: Brownback, Huckabee and Romney the #1,2,3 finishers chartered over 100 busses each. Seems that that investment paid off.

  • Sounds like little joeysnowman is jealous.

  • good video

  • Joey - You ever heard that phrase, "It's not a sin to be stupid but for God's sakes why do you have to go around advertising it?" You fit the description to a "T".

  • lol

So you selfrighteous snide ron paul spammers have found new tricks to get your candidate hated, haha.

    Sore losers.

Your guys brag about their personal vote fraud in Iowa (nonresidents using other people's IDs) right on Paul's website.

    Way to go!

    Nice job

  • Yeah, we ALL brag...Jeez, how ignorant can one get? Paul supporters that I have met have been some of the nicest people I know. Stereotyping entire groups of people because of a few peoples concocted, irrelevant opinion will only curb your character to a lull.

  • This is blatantly false. I don't understand why you are making this accusation on my video, since it doesn't state anything relating to non-residents, or the voting process during the poll. The video was recorded the day before the event. Please cite a reference to the comments made on Ron Paul's website urging people to vote illegally. If you can't, please retract your outrageous statement.

  • Everyone look at JoeySnowman's profile. It is just a fake profile made by a Romney spammer. This is a texbook case of psychological projection calling Ron Paul supporters spammers.
