  • Aww. I think it's true, huskies just hate bath time. Mine is a year old and he still cries and yelps like a puppy. He doesn't mind jumping around in water and splashing in his pool, but when we have to bathe him, he just hates it. We take him to the groomers since they have a better handle at bathing him and he's always fine and happy afterwards.

  • You got a new account?

  • I read what you wrote about Shelby liking a bath. That's pretty amazing - you have a unique husky. Mmost huskies hate baths. My sister's husky is 12 and she still cries when being bathed.

  • Awe she is so quiet. Tundra howls and cries asthough the husky apocalypse is upon her. I litterally have to get into the bath with her clothes and all, and still the howling, scratching and fighting will not ceace.

  • @winterblaze1 Me too!! My other dog will rush into the bathroom to make sure he's okay. He's such a baby xP

  • oops warm water i mean.

haha i woudnt use hot water thats mean.

i need one of these dogs. theyre the cutest coolest things alive!

  • sooo how many times a week do u need to give your husky a bath?

do you use hot water or cold?

  • why do dogs hate baths? You would think its relaxing like it is to us.

  • I love your husky's use of non-violent resistance.

  • I know how you feel. My dog Jess hates baths too because she's afraid of water. When my mom bought her home she had to bathe her because she was in the kennels too long and it made her smelly.

  • awww poor baby, she looks soo depressed once she hits the tub, i guess picking her up is your last option XD

  • aww she looked soo sad *goes to tub and gets the dog!*

  • *smiles* Poor Shiloh! She's like, Mommy I don't wanna bath! But, beautiful Shiloh looks great when she's clean! The look on Shiloh's face is so priceless! Thank you for this adorable video! :)

  • its silly cos my husky loves the beach the pond and her pool, but hates the bath.... but shes good cos i dont need to tie her up or anything^^ shes a good gurl

  • SOOOO CUUUTTEEEEEEEE :D :D :D

  • @XxGrAfFiTixLuVxX Thanks! Come check out their new channel and subscribe! We have LOTS of cute videos of the dogs on there!

  • @GoneToTheSnowDogs sure :) i love siberian huskies

  • She may not like it, but she is well mannered enough to not try to fight you to get out of the tub.

  • Very true! :) You should check out their new channel and subscribe to it!! Shiloh and Shelby are the stars of it!

  • my husky hates taking a bath. i always end up chasing him around and wrestling with him. *sight*

  • Aaaww...He looks so miserable :)

  • my husky hates bath, she is getting better though.. she shakes like a leaf!

  • This one hates them, our other one could care less! I will have to get a video of her up taking a bath.

  • man he is a cute dog

  • Well thank you! She is our special girl! :)

  • Whats a suction cup?

  • It sticks to the floor of the bathtub so the dog can't jump out and injure itself while we are bathing her.

  • Okay Good to Know...You Have a Lovely Dog...I want one myself and as you see I have a lote to learn!

  • all huskies hates baths, my sister's does too

  • Our other husky (Shelby, she is in some of the other videos) LOVES the water. She loves the bathtub and if you leave the door open while you are taking a bath or a shower, she will try to get in the tub with you!

  • Wow! She was amazingly good. Mine screams bloody murder and claws me up. She jumps and twists! She hates it so much. It's so difficult in the tub. It looks like we are wrestling. Last time I bathed her tied to a tree and she was still super dramatic but at least I had less battle wounds. What and how does this cup work? I wonder if that would help me.

  • The face tells me "Please Don't" lol

  • my husky is the same way i have to literally pik her up and put her in the bath tub

  • My husky mix HATES bathes! She makes too much of a mess in the house so when she gets dirty or is shedding beyond toleration, we either have to take her to the one groomer she doesn't have to be dragged into or fill up a kiddie pool outside and let the water sit until it's warm enough. And even then she's a big sook and someone has to hold her on the leash so she doesn't bolt!

  • she may not look happy but she is better then my dog. my dog pratically strangles herself with her collar thrying to get away from the bath. urs is so awsome!

  • what a sweetie. so well behaved. Glad we don't have to bathe but twice a year!!!

  • Look at those ears!

  • she is so well behave...she needs to give mine some pointers

  • You really do not want to see the war in my bathroom when I bathe my husky.

  • unfortunately, i know what you mean lol

  • @Thebeautiful11 i do lol

  • Um. . do your research. . really . . PLEASE. Huskies are not a for everyone type of dog. YES they Shed PROFUSLEY!! All the time! Watch my Furminator Video to see some of Shiloh's shedding. They can live in any climate, they are very adapatble. They are EXTREMELY High energy. Check out the videos of me biking with Shelby. We can bike 10 miles a night and she isn't even close to tired. Be very wise in choosing to own a husky. They are a very special breed of dog.

  • She's not a Malamute! She's a beautiful example of a Siberian. I love this video - her facial expressions. However, huskies don't need many baths. I think you guys just love to give your dogs baths! Do you have kids? If not, have some, they need bathing alot or get a smelly breed of dog that needs baths more regularly.

  • We don't have kids, dogs are way better! hehe. And we only bath her twice a year, and it's when she is blowing her coat. It helps with the shedding process.

  • I think your husky is actually a malamute.

  • Well it just goes to show, you don't know anything. For one, Mal's don't have blue eyes. For two Mal's are MUCH bigger. Shiloh is only 38 pounds. For three, I have her papers, and she is AKC registered. Read up about your breeds before you go jumping to conclustions also. I have two Siberian Huskies. Trust me, I know what breeds my dogs are.

  • OMG THAT WAS SO CUTE!!!!!

  • She is a cutie pie! Check out my other videos. This dog was featured on a Michigan Lottery Ticket! There is a video about it on my page. :)

  • My Husky acts even worse when given a bath, yo would think you were killing her. She love water on her own terms, otherwise, she hates it.

  • Haha if there were no black on the dog I'd say that ws mine crying in the tub. I got mine (nobody believes he's husky because he's white) from a shelter and they tried to talk me out of him! He's only 2 1/2 but aside from the running, he's a fantastic dog. You mentioned you tried a rescue and they wouldn't let you have one...I know how you feel! This shelter would have euthanized him if we wouldn't have taken him though. It was like they wanted to. >:[

  • Ohh shes crying XD

  • My dog when you carry him into the bathroom, he hooks his feet on the door, and claws on it so he dosn't have to go in, and howls.. he then tries to jump out.. >.>; he wouldn't sit that still to put on shampoo, he tries to eat the shampoo.

  • Is Shiloh a handful or pretty well behaved?

  • She is 6 years old, so she is alot calmer now then she used to be. My other husky is 7 months old and she is a handful! Huskies really act like puppies til about 4 or 5 years of age. . they are a very challenging breed.

  • So beautiful!!

  • Im in love, they are such beautiful animals i want one

  • would you happen to know if female huskies are less inclined to escape and wander than males?

  • The sex of the dog makes absolutely no difference.

  • By the way, your husky is very cool looking. How old is she and does she shed a lot? Very smart on getting a suction cup. When I get a dog, I'll be sure to get one. Thanks.

  • Shiloh is 6 years old. She sheds ALOT!!!

  • Thanks so much for the advice and do you know any breeders in Arizona?

  • thekittykat79 speakss all truth!

  • I'm looking for a husky breeder in Arizona. Do you know any? And did you get yours from a pet store or breeder, and which one do you prefer?

  • Do NOT get it from a pet store!!! And do you research on the breed before you get one. They are VERY hard to train, and will destroy anything. They are also escape artists, so read up before you decide this is the dog for you. because Huskies are not for everyone. . Deffinately get it from a breeder. You will get a heathlier dog.

  • I respect your comment but NOT TRUE. The best place to get a Siberian Husky is from a rescue program. The handler will have gotten to know the Husky and will help you decide if the dog is right for you. Many times they allow a "trial" period. A breeder is only concerned about money. At least know your options.

  • Rescues are not always an option. We tried to rescue a Malamute, but we apparently weren't fit parents. If you knew the story behind Shiloh, you would know why that was very insulting to us. So Rescues might be great, but they won't always let a good person have a dog, sometimes they are entirely to strict.

  • My huskie will not take a bath very easily she likes to jump out and shake on everyone until everyone (two people are needed to hold her down) is soaked!

  • mine stay indoors most of the time they just sleep outside .. they are pretty clean most of the time haha onli when they start digging holes and role around in the dirt is when they get dirty other then that there pretty good.

  • how often do you give em a bath?.. ive got 2 huskies and i give em a bath probably every 3 months? good or bad?

  • Mine are indoor dogs, so I only bath them when they absolutely need it. Maybe once a year? They are a very clean breed of dog, and their natural oils help keep them clean.

  • Every 3 months is extremely bad !!! They have another layer of hair under those long hairs and they are so thick that the dog wont really get dirty. The best is to give them a bath once a year, but if necessary two times a year.

  • I half agree yes you aren't meant to give them a bath all over unless they have been rolling in mud or some sort of poison is on them and them self-cleaning would be dangerous but its okay to clean their legs if theyve been digging etc.

But twice a year is ok because if shedding. I should know i have a husky (1yr).

  • WoW! I wish my Siberian would be so good at bath time! Mine will howl and pull like I was trying to kill him. What's a suction cup? That might help me some!

  • There is a link to it up in the description of the video.

  • Thanks!

  • It was always a life long dream to share life with a siberian husky

    LUCKY!!

  • Watch some of my other vidoes, we now have two huskies.

  • HUSKIES ARE THE BEST!

  • I whole Heartedly Agree.

  • i hope your using warm water... or maybe shiloh's crying cause theres a zip tie around the neck. you wouldn't like that?

  • Nah we used ice water, and we were chokeing the hell out of her. . Come on! The suction cup doesn't work like a choke colar, and of course we used warm water!

  • why are you so defensive, i have 4 huskys, it was a joke, my god woman relax! i have rescued huskies for the last 10 years, and my skye acts just like this in the bath. so sorry you took offense... usually husky people are friendly...

  • I do apologize. I had a rough morning. My 6 month old husky needs eye surgery, that is freaking me out, and my grandfather is in the hospital, and he probalby isn't going to make it much longer. Again, I am sorry.

  • i want to see more of your baby!

  • Our Husky's Look alike... any Body watch Husky Max there my vids of my puppy

  • lol i need to get my one of those suction cups. my husky LOVES pools and water but HATES baths

  • Look at those ears!

  • I need to try that! My husky is a nightmare when it's bath time.

  • omg thats a great idea with the suction cup, my husky hates bath too. i gotta try that, cuz he always moves and trys to get out

  • My husky has about the same reaction. Well, he used to, and then I started climbing into the bath tub with him, and I think he feels reassured. He has his own towel... it's probably the best one I own! lol I even bought a hair dryer just for him, but he's terrified of it, so he just gets toweled off, and I get a better hair-do!

  • Poor, poor husky. What a beautiful, gentle face conveying so much suffering. She's crying. I think you left her in their way too long guys. Can I have her? She's stunning.

  • She's a big baby!

  • aww......poor thing.

  • My cat loves baths. I thought cats hate baths? I know dogs like the water but some dont. I LOVE HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!

  • Aww he's fluffy

  • dont bother me, im watching tv !!!!!!

  • Dog don't like to Bath!Remember Warm Water and Quick Bath. Then use dryer. Because, they are easy get a cold. Let them run around until dry up

  • oh its looks so saddd

  • fue buebo el video porque lo bañaron es un hermoso siberiano es parecido al mio

  • that never gets old

  • "see the suction cup.... right there dude that was funny . luv ur dog too

  • what are those dogs called?? there white and furry and they look like pomerianinans... but there big also.... they are soooo cute! they are SUPER furry though. there pure white. I just dont know the name....

  • American Eskimo Dog?

  • Any1 who knows of good husky breeders in NJ plz tell me

  • Poor baby!

  • I have 2 sibes and they are never given offical baths, just splash in lakes and streams. The double coat repels dirt and their shedding rids them from excess oils. For surface mud and dirt on the legs a towel works great. My huskies always smell delicious, whereas my smelly yorkie must have a bath every week.

  • Yea I hears a husky only needs a bath like once a year if that cuz their fur keeps them clean plus they clean themselves. I want a husky so bad!

  • My mom told me that huskies don't actually like the water. Its because of their fur (anyone who has a husky knows ALLLLLL about fur lol). My dog won't go swimming and we finally found out that its because their undercoat really doesn't like it.

  • i have also a husky and she also doesn't like to take a bath

  • aww she's cryin hehe

  • Yeah she sure can be a mouthy little thing.

  • oh god it is sooooo pitiful and I llloooovvvveee it. I am a total sucker for huskies. I want one so badly. The like big poofy babies their whole lives. My friend used to have one and he hated baths too.

  • Shes like i can get out soon yay *ears prik up* lol

  • awesome vid, the dog looks really cute

  • like mine thay hate it

    :)

  • I just love how pitiful she looks, like it's the worst thing ever. She is such a silly girl.

  • Yeah she really doesn't like baths. Lucky for her it's normally a once a year thing.

  • Very nice husky. Could you give us the name of the sucky thing around the dogs neck please & where to get it. 5*

  • There is now a link in the description to where you can buy the Hold Em Bath Restraints

  • lol, my cousin's dog looks soooo pathetic when she gets a bath. I should make a video of it! :3 Also, VERY cute husky! ^_^ you get a five

  • she is so sweet, she don't want to take a bath and she is so cute. I love huskies and i wish i will take one next month. :))))) I am so excited. But that husky on the video is so sweet and beautifil.:)))

  • They act like we're killing them when we give them baths....Silly doggies, my husky hates them too..

  • Shiloh is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I had a husky names Misty, but she passed away last year. It was very sad.

  • haha how pathetic! My husky's going for a bath next week :D I think ALL huskies are big babies when it comes to bath time. I use an oatmeal shampoo on my dog, too, they work really well!

  • My husky doesnt really cry or whine, he kinda spins round in a mad rant attempts to jump out!! Your husky is very similar to mine! Same fur patterns and such, i think only the fur patches on the heads differ! Very cute dog =D

  • SOOO cute. And she whining too. "Mommmmmmiiiiiee!" I just wanna hug her. And lol @ "you can't hide in the curtains". It's okay boo-boo. And lol @ the end, "leave me alone, I'm watching TV."

  • soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cuuuuuuuuutttttteeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what kind of soup do u use? I might be getting one and ide like to know

  • Oatmeal Shampoo is the best kind to use.

  • I gave my husky a bath the other day. She whined just like yours did.

  • Aww, mine hate baths, too! They're just little babies, lol!
