I think that you did the head twister too fast. It needs to be slower so that the audience gets a good look at the direction of her head.

I think that's the inherent misdirection. Most people probably think the guy is the magician and she's just the assistant. Instead of the other way around! But, even if I'm wrong, I still say: Brava! Encore!
