@sonsateable Certainly a few vids here. Some foods I show a basic method, others more authentic. I mix it up. As anything, some are more interesting than others (some a bit odd). Variable audience with variable tastes.
Always good to pick up a new tip or idea. I continue to try and learn daily about everything :) Thank you! cheers, KtC
@JessicaPersonalChef Hello Jessica. A classic recipe that can be changed a bit as to one's desires. Variable cheese or sauce can make it a unique recipe. I just use a simple marinara sauce or tomato sauce. The trick is not to over cook the chicken in the frying stage (leave it a bit pink) as it will finish cooking in the oven. Too many fry the chicken until cooked. It will just be too dry after the baking stage.
@escafallen I had training years ago but went in another direction afterwards. I have always cooked though. A foodie I suppose with the class time. cheers, KtC
Oh my goodness that looks great! Multiple cheeses and a drizzle of olive oil? Nice touch!
I really like how quick and simple your presentation is in your vids and yet everything is clearly flavorful and delicious...thanks for the invite! I can never have too many cooking channel subscriptions :)
@Abeba323 A few version of this recipe but the cheese combo here and yes, the drizzle certainly adds a nice variation. A nice sauce makes it too. Happy you are enjoying the vids. Thanks again! KtC
If It wasnt for you, My girlfriends parents wouldnt of liked me. But once they found about my cooking skills (from you) they always ask me to cook supper :D
Yes, a few easy skills is all it usually takes to win folks over. I started with one dish I liked and then tried another. Eventually a few are in the pocket for when the in-laws visit.
Thank you for the feedback, much appreciated. cheers, KtC
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm my favorite thanks for the easy recipe
@yanirawr This is a well tested recipe and very tatsy. Can be served up for a dinner party or a quick lunch. Works well with the left over sauce. cheers, KtC
umm in this recipe isnt it a high chance that the chicken will be over cooked? to fry in the frying pan and then baking it? cuz i think it might be overcooked
My computer is acting crazy and the video started chopping up on me. For that spagetti, did you use your tomatoe meat sauce recipe? Thank you for teaching me how to cook :)
@AliceCooks Hi! I used my Marinara recipe for this one. Easy to make, see my 'Marinara' video (try the video search). A tasty tomato sauce. You do not want a meat sauce with this. Very tasty chickennnnn! cheers, KtC
finally someone who doest have to explain and say every goddam action (Like," now we are going to add some cheese, it can be any one you Like blah blah blah",) and the video takes forever to watch, Thank you
Quite right, if you need or want to catch an ingredient or technique, just rewind and pause when needed...
That's part of KtC's video philosophy and I think it's great!
As I realized recently, from his msg, if you don't care for it, it's only a minute of your time...if you like it, you'll take time to pause and take notes....
A Unique way to impart what's of interest to you, and of interest to him...
They don't have to agree, but you have the option!
@lisanti42 i said the same thing. these vids are the best. theres no opinion, no yadda yadda, its great. i have to hear peoples opinions all day long. its so refreshing to NOT hear that, while getting a lesson on a certain dish. freaking love it.
@MrPlonkas Happy you enjoyed the visit. I thought a quick approcah was different in this video age. A bit like those index cards they use to have with the recipes on them. Quick and in the least, a guideline to follow. A bit of fun now and then too! cheers! KtC
@kooktocook for this particular recipe i think the cheeses you used were perfect!
well, it's great that you tried real italian food! most of the time when i go abroad they really have a strange idea of italian food :D but i guess it's the same with any international cuisine (like chinese...i doubt we eat exactly what they eat in china!)
one of my fave italian cheeses is fontina, is like cheddar in consistency. Very nice!
@scentedhoneysuckle I agree. You will never (almost) see animal organs on a Chinese menu in N.A. .
I wil note a very strong Italian influenced cuisine in N.A. . Many a good dining establishments about (me Canadian). The cuisine also goes back a hundred years (and more) when immigrants worked with what they had.. So things do get changed around. I love European foods and their love (and respect) for it. Yes, real cheese....mmmmmm. cheers! KtC
@AngryLlamaz I do not get to watch as many vids. as I would like although I do have my favourites (cooking ones that is). All about the food here (most of the time). I appreciate the kind words! cheers, KtC
@simbayukiwolf Had not thought of that. I do mess around with recipes but try to keep to the recipe here (most times lol). Can't go wrong with bacon! cheers mate! r
