But I prefer the SDM verison of Geese's special in KOF'96, when it cover almost half screen with energy columns.

Can someone explain how this new "Ult" style works? It looks like a combination of Adv. and EX.

When selecting the Ultimate mode, you have to choose :

- Your run style : run (ADV style) or dash foward (EXTRA style)

- Your dodge style : roll (ADV style) or side step (EXTRA style)

- Your gauge style : automatic (ADV) or manual charge (EXTRA)

Note that choosing the 3 ADV/EXT styles will automatically switch you to the ADVANCED / EXTRA mode.

yeah and once again, even with the improvements in the new extra mode. It's still the least preferred mode.

It seems that one of the reasons why people may choose ultimate mode, has specifically to do with the fact that they want to use the meter system of extra (charging), but for everything else, they prefer the featuresof advanced mode.
